Can you give a basic outline of your business plan and strategy? For example, what market(s) / demographics are you targeting? What kind of market research did you do before deciding to market to that niche? What is your monetization model? Is it only Adsense and being an Amazon affiliate?

What is your strategy for getting traffic?

What are you using to track that traffic?

What kind of ongoing testing, tracking, and tweaking are you doing to IMPROVE your conversions?

Give an example of one of your marketing funnels.

Hello RoD,

This is what i have been doing. I started off in the Yoga niche and was tried to sell yoga trousers being a affiliate for Amazon. I built the site from with wordpress and posted losts of articles about yoga clothing and training which i paid someone on fiverr to write and she added the keywords i wanted. All i had on the site was adsense and amazon because i didn't want to crowed the website with everything else. I then bought scrapebox and blasted a ton of backlinks to the website and did lots and lots of manual backlinks which got the website onto page 1 in Google after about a month for the keyword "yoga trousers." I then made some sales and kept up with the backlinks but after a few weeks the site drifted down the rankings and i couldn't seem to catch it up again but i made a few sales and got quite a few clicks on my adsense. I then started to believe that this is really possible. I know have free hosting from a friend and i want to try something better than the way i did the last time. I learn't this way from buying a courses i have purchased and ebooks i read. I hope i answered your questions.

Yoga trousers gets around 700 searches a month....20 odd a day'ish.

If you got ALL that traffic and had a conversion of say 10% that would
be 2 sales a day from adsense.......you'd starve.

Did the books/products you read say anything about solving a problem for customers? Buying yoga trousers is no problem...there are dozens of sites selling them.

There is no passion in the 'yoga trousers purchasing' niche...

I have PM you my Skype ID. All the products i have bought (i have bought a lot) have taught me how to make money using Google. I read lots of posts in this forum and nearly every marketer that is doing well hates using Google for there business..

What is "lots of articles?". Secondly, did you quality check each article to ensure that it was:

1. Not duplicated from somewhere else.

2. Content that your market is looking for.

3. How many articles did you add during what time frame? Ten in 30 days? One per day? Etc.

Ok, but what search engine optimzation strategy were you following? This looks like a big cluster ***k without any real organization to it. Did you also try the keyword "buy yoga trousers?".

It partially answered my questions so thank you for that; however, what you just shared is not a business plan and your strategy sounds like it's all over the place.

One of the most important questions I asked you went unanswered, which was, "What market research did you do to decide that this was a profitable niche to get into?" It's okay if you didn't do any (most people don't), but this is where your problems begin.

You are being too complicated and you buy too much products. You can use all those money and pay for paid traffic and get instant cash. You don't need all those HTML/CSS market samurai blablabla all those stuff. All you need to do is build a Sales Funnel and stick to it, if it doesn't work out, tweak and test your sales funnel again.

Always test your sales funnel for best result.

What are your traffic source?
SEO? Media buys? Solo ads? guest post?

Different traffic sources have different result on each niche. Once again, test every traffic source and figure out which one is your #1 traffic source.

Here is one sales funnel I can give you, I drew it this morning for my product.

The only question I have regarding this flow is from the low priced affiliate products>solo ads. The middle funnel.

Are you sending solo ads to the original sales funnel, or are you promoting the low priced affiliate offer in your solo ads?

Or, does that mean once you have built a significant list start doing solo ads.. Just a little confused there.

You've got some great replies there so I won't add much. The most important skill in Internet Marketing is "Marketing" and the first part of that equation is traffic so choose one method (e.g. PPC or Youtube) and don't even look left or right till you've mastered it. And when you start generating traffic, remember to test all sorts of things with that traffic to see what performs best with that traffic. Recently just changing one affiliate offer to another increased my commissions five fold with the same traffic. So lots of TESTING.

Google Analytics is free and it integrates well with sad sense. Also, there are many ways to track your roi. Concentrate on creating more compelling content in your body copy.

Also, remember to add some image. That will spice things up.

you have learnt a skill - all that you have listed- my advice stick to one e.g. webdesign service

you have done the skill ie put into practice what you have learnt.
the next step is to...

SELL! SELL!! SELL!!!
you can start here with the warriors for hire section. but you will need a good copywriter to help you with the sales letter.

after making good bucks with one of your skills.
try list building using solo ads. note you will need an autoresponder

offer discounts to your list for them to patronise your other services

create a website and drive traffic as suggested above to build the business aspect of your business.

You can't do everything at the same time.

All the pieces are important, focus in one then move on to the next.

I'd suggest you to start with a free product to give away (either on your blog or squeeze page)

Then drive traffic to your free product to build opt in list.

Prepare some good content to give away in your autoresponder messages (ie: article, video)

Promote some affiliate products or your own products occasionally.

Thank you everyone for your comments. The course i bought have been junk. I have had a real lesson on how to do things now and i am in the middle of making my very first product.

I think i had tried to absorb too much information and didn't focus on one little step at a time. I had a chat with a fellow warrior and he has opened up my eyes to what is really involved with IM.

I have also realized that Google isn't the only way to get great traffic and there is are much easier ways of getting it.

firstly if your gonna promote products as an affiliate, find a problem or pain in the market, then find a solution to that pain/problem.

yoga pants wont cut it. Start again and find a product that can solve a pain/problem. Once you find the product then do your keyword research, then set up an affiliate site, forget adsense for now. only place 5 articles on your site only do not place it into an article directory. and do a review of the product that your trying to promote.

then start backlinking with quality links, remember the new panada system will have your site slapped, so focus on quality backlinks to keep your site on page 1 in google.
