My SEO guy suddenly stopped answering my emailsSuddenly stopp

I ordered SEO service from the Warrior Forum WSO for a basic adsense site. Things appeared to be going fine till I started asking him for proof of what he was doing for my site. Now he wont reply to mys support tickets. Do I have any recourse? I paid with paypal. I guess I wont be dealing with any overseas providers (India) anymore.

    File a complaint with paypal. This will stop his scam.

    I'm going to contact paypal although I think I might be past their 45 day window to complain. My SEO provider told me to give him 120 days to properly rank the site.

      If he/she has been logged in on here since you have emailed them, then I'd name & shame them.

      There are far too many scammers on forums who think they can take your money and do a runner.

      I've been caught out on here by seo sellers, Paypal didn't want to know as it is a service not goods.
      I also had 2 disputes filed against web site builders which I did get refunded, as you are buying an actual product.

      Paypal is a farce at times.

    He's correct there. Instant rankings don't generally happen or if they do they dance. But to stop communicating? Not cool. He could even give you a link report...something to show what he's doing without revealing proprietary methods...*smh* guys like that give SEO a bad name.

    Thanks for the ideas and advice guys! Sometimes I feel lost in cyberspace. I see other people have had this type of difficulty and I already know tha paypal can give you the run around although its been generally ggo for me.

      Not here as it's against the rules. The rest of us have no way to determine what is true or not.

      OP, you can and should drop a polite note into the person's WSO thread, however. Your feedback could save someone else and alert others to the problem in a way that is allowed.

    Report it to a mod and leave a review in his WSO thread. If you have no Paypal recourse, there's not much else you can do.

      File a complaint here with a mod and with PayPal. PayPal is usually good at taking care of problems but not sure if they can with this type of problem.

      How could you possibly apply this adage without knowing what the OP paid?

      Let me know how this strategy works for getting eyeballs to your signature. If making a silly comment works, everyone will start doing it.

        Like I said Todd, just be careful, as the guy could click bomb you and cost you your adsense account if you tick him off. I am kinda wondering though now... What kind of links were these? I had a guy I was using for private blog network posts. He dissapeared, but I didnt have any work out with him then.

    Since this is a service, paypal may not do much unless a considerable amount of people file similar complaints about this guy. I would give it a shot though and see what they say.

        If you think about it the warrior forum is built on trust and reviews from other warriors.

        Yes there is a rule about naming and shaming but you are certainly within your rights to post a review on his threads. Actually fellow warriors would appreciate it. I have had similar issues in the past and my only advice is:

        Make certain you know who you are dealing with in future, do your due diligence reputation is everything.

        Finally PayPal does NOT provide buyers protection for NON tangible items, many people have learnt that the hard way, always keep that in mind when purchasing.

    1 thing that sticks out in my mind on this issue. I had an issue like this before, I questioned the seller, I am pretty much positive that they didnt deliver what they said they did. The Seller said that they did though, but heres the issue that I saw. When dealing with Adsense you want to tread lightly with people who know your site URLs. All you need to do is make 1 person mad and they can click bomb your adsense and your account is gone. Adsense seems to be GLADLY banning accounts now days. If the amount you paid the guy wasnt a huge amount, Im not sure id take the chance of making him mad. If he has already stooped low enough to stiff you on the product he claims to sell, it probably woulnt phase him to click bomb you.

    I believe you need to contact Worrior forum admin to send warning or banned that user so will not have second victim face the same problem with you .
    No matter you get the ranking or nope, the support side still need to respond you as this is a service.

      Everyone is assuming this is a scam....but is it?

      How many emails did you send? What kind of "proof" were you asking for? Most SEO people will provide a link report - sometimes you have to ask for it. If you were asking for more or for particulars, perhaps you were requesting too much of his time.

      You don't say how long ago you hired this person or what the agreed upon services were to begin with. You don't say what level/price range you hired him for or how often he had agreed to provide updates.

      Maybe there is a scam - but I don't think there's enough info in this thread to assume that.

    You must dispatch a complain to Paypal within 45 days to get the full payment back.

    Well Its not good to stop replying the emails.He must keep in Tuch regualrly to the Updates Even he delays your work.
