You are not allowed to monetize wordpress.com ... it's in their TOS. Just invest the $10-$20 necessary and get a self hosted domain.

Quoted for truth. If you want to make money with WordPress, use it on self-hosted domains only.

I think it all went wrong for you when you created your blog on Wordpress.com. A perfect example of why you should never rely on third party services like that to host your sites.

Spend 20 dollars and get some proper hosting and a domain.

They told you the answer. NONE!

Now, download WP and install it on your own site or
get a hosting plan... they're less than 5 bucks/mo... and
install it from there with C-Panel.

  If you still want to use WP and at the same time start right by having your site hosted, you can try godaddy. They have a plan where you can automatically install WP and hosting for less than $5 dollars.

Anyone who is serious in making money online should have his own self hosted website or blog since using a free platform like blogger or wordpress.com doesn't not give a blogger full control, this should be a lesson to anyone who starts blogging since free has it's coincidence...

Move out.

Say you're homeless. Your friend says "Sure stay with me. But no smoking, drinking or parties."

Grab the advice of the members above - move out. Get moving towards your own web hosting, giving you freedom how you want to set up your blog / website / backlinks / affiliate programs....
