Is the Conduit Method still effective today? and would you still recommend following this method this late in the game?
Any input would be greatly appreciated. ![]() Steve |

Late in the game?...
You're never late in the "game"... the internet is just a medium to sell stuff, always changing always growing.. It's definitely NOT too late and the conduit method is still a VERY strong strategy for working niche sites for profits. This is from personal experience in my business, some of my conduit sites are my biggest performing properties. Peace Jay |

There will always be new products so there will always be new conduit sites. So it will never be late.

It is really effective when you have good reviews and good products to promote.

Thanks Ross. The main product that I am going to promote I completely believe in. I also have lots of article ideas as well as many news stories that relate to the product in one way or another.
I believe that over time I can be successful. This is a great forum and I think everyone for their input ! |

Yasky, while it's important to believe in what you sell, make sure you're creating a conduit site for products that there is a solid demand for.
I've seen a lot of people in the original conduit thread "missing the point" with this method. Read the info Chris gives you very carefully. Report the facts on the products rather than trying to sell. Nick |

Step outside the IM niche and conduit sites convert very, very well.
In one niche, my conduit site converts better than when I sent traffic directly to the sales page. Social proof works wonders. |

Can someone please explain what a conduit site is? I know I could look it up elsewhere but other people might not know what it is either and explaining it will add relevance to the thread for us.

My conduit sites are doing very well. I've even mixed in a little bit of PPC and it's converting. Try going for physical products (watches, grills, jewelry, etc.) as well as they tend to do better than electronic downloads (in my opinion).

Is the primary difference between a Conduit site and a Silo structured site simply the reviews on a conduit? I would think the silo linking structure would help the conduit method.

kenwarrior: here's my conduit site: From the Inside.info I believe everyone's advice has been good. Don't do what I did and go for Clickbank products. They convert like crap.

Thanks for the link you your website, I checked it out, since my last post I've read more about conduit site strategy and think I've got the idea.
Regarding your site, I don't think it's really built to the Chris Rempel concept as you are trying to promote everything from one site, it should really be focused around one niche theme that has lots of products in it, also you are listing products as the best pick etc whereas you should really be just be listing lots of products to get more SEO traffic, I did find some broken links as well |

Hi,
I had no idea what the conduit method was, but came across it whilst reading the information contained in searchengine loophole, and with that, I am subscribed on Chris Remels list and gives smallish reports based on the conduit method, think I will buy kind regards Peter |
