    First of all, I think I would have gone for a fifth, lacking, alternative in your poll going something like;

    "Maybe not crooks, but having business and marketing ethics that leaves much to be wanted."

    While their sales copy and other methods may convert well towards an unprepared hurd, I often find them on the "verge" ethically.

    Some of them also don't seem afraid of using, or promoting using, false social proof.

    It might perhaps pass in the US and a lot of other countries, with less stringent customer rights in place than we have here in Norway. However I'm rather sure much of it would have been deemed in breach of ethical marketing if it had been handled by our appropriate bodies for things like that.

    Anyway; Not a big problem for me any more. I'm on the email list of some of them, but I must admit to just moving almost all their emails directly into the subfolder I've made for each marketer, without even reading them or looking at the subject.

    I have chosen to use my time following some more middle tier marketers that, at least to me, seem to be on a higher level than those top marketers when it comes to ethics

    The unconnected masses making up most of the IM community definitely don't make money buying Internet Marketing materials
    anyway another poll option should be added

    Can't comment but when someone is making millions of dollars, they are under scrutiny. As Eric Cantona said, seagulls always follow the trawler looking for sardines.
