hello,
i wanted to make a website (i.e. site.com)
and want to make several different categories

site.com/resorts-in-germany/
site.com/cheap-wholesale-moto-parts/
site.com/footbal-balls/

and etc. i mean that i want to target different subjects of keywords is it good to make all of them in one domain (in different categories) and to start SEO on them instead registering different domains:
resorts-in-germany.com
cheap-wholesale-moto-parts.com
footbal-balls.com

because if i do i.e. 100 hour work on each of these 3 domains (in sum 300 hour), isn't it good that instead of it i should make that 300 hour work on one domain (site.com), and that domain will be more valuable? do you undesrtand me?
which one will be better for my SEO Rankings in google, and why?. thanks

why don't you start first in using it with categories... then later on, if you think you can manage it properly... it's time for you to make domain of those.

There is no actual answers on which one is better:
    1. Build all in 1 site. It will be harder to rank because you have many keywords to be ranked for and each keyword can consists of child keywords also your site has no specific niche because it targets all niche.
    2. Build 1 site = 1 niche. It's easier to rank. The main domain is for your main niche, the articles are to target smaller niche related to main niche, this way you can rank for global niche that has relation between each article.

    Hope this helps

I am no SEO genius, but I would prefer to see separate domains for each different niche.

    None is better.
Once you provide the content google wants then both will be the same.

I have a website with different categories and all of the pages are indexed and traffic comes organically from the search engines to all 1000 pages because of the content.

In my opinion, separate domains will clearly be better for your rankings in Google.

Because keyword.com ranks more easily for "keyword" than site.com/keyword does, other things being equal.

Because the closer to the start of the url the keyword is, the better it is for ranking.

This is also why, when you're adding additional letters/words to the keyword in a domain-name, it's better to add them after the keyword than before, so all the people registering bestkeyword.com are doing worse for SEO, in principle, than all the people registering keywordxyz.com.

Definitely use separate domains. It will make things a whole lot easier and looks better to the people visiting your site for information on each specific topic. The extra cost and time needed to set up the additional sites is pretty negligible.

Separate domains is the best way.

Look into multiple domain hosting. It wouldn't be much more to register multiple domains and host all within a single hosting platform.

The more concentrated the niche, the easier it is to get to the top of Google. If your site niche is too broad it's harder.

What do I mean by this?

If you center your niche around guitars, very broad niche, will be hard to get ranked.

Do a niche around Yamaha guitars, still a little broad, but getting a little easier to work with.

Build a niche around Yamaha Pacifica guitar, very narrow, but much easier to rank.

The main thing is the narrower the niche, the easier you will be able to rank.
