Some experts say that there are totally 52 ways to get traffic, most of us only use 2 to 3 the most of the time. They said: If you could master, they really mean "master" 5 ways of them, you will never see your traffic down.

There are so many crappy, useless, old-fashioned ways of marketing information outside, and some people claim them to be a "guru" and trying to sell these useless marketing skills, especially to online marketing newbie.

There are so much more to learn on internet marketing. What you can do is NOT ONLY learn, But put them into practice. Find a good product and promote it TODAY use any of the marketing ways you learned.

The key is this - Try some of the methods (There are literally hundreds)

Make SURE you have tracking software on your site.

Review where your traffic is coming from and how much effort you put in to get the hits.

When you find a method that works, then stick with it and master it.

Trying 20 or 30 methods at once and not tracking the results is just going to get you frustrated.

Try Yahoo Answers but beware. For each 10 answers make sure that you have your site's link in only 5 of them. The other should be pure answers.

Hey guys my 2 cents as well although still learning! I am not up on Free Traffic strategies except for SEO which I am pretty good at, feel free to hit me up on questions related to SEO.

Now for the Free Online Traffic ideas, I leave that to you guys whom have been doing this for a while or for those whom have studied all the various ways, I am not too much up on this and currently studying on how to get free traffic.

Hey guys the whole idea for me is to also chip in with ideas a meeting of the minds - brainstorming - masterminding etcccc. For those of you whom are inexperienced or feel you have nothing to share with us, please do not feel like this, you have something to share to share as well you just think you don't, in fact it may be your idea that someone here may use and not someone who has alot of experience this is just the way it is when it comes to brainstorming and information sharing.

Note: New jacks to net marketing like myself - Remember there is no such thing as a bad idea that you can suggest the only bad one is the one that is not stated due to your own fear of ridicule from others, or that you personally think it is not a good idea and think no one will like my idea...STOP right here do not do that, you are hurting your own creativity and hurting others who may need your help and ideas...my 2 cents..;>)

I will share some offline ideas: (some u will probably already know..:>( ) all should include your sites address. I believe that you guys that are only thinking about online marketing may hurt yourself by not thinking "old fashion offline marketing as another marketing weapon".

I come from the offline world as a offline marketer and once I get going marketing online I will start to implement offline marketing strategies to drive traffic online as well, be creative get crazy with your ideas...

• magnetic sign on car or white lettering
• biz cards
• free local newspapers place ad
• offer free report offline drive traffic to site to get your free report
• hand out 5 flyers a day x 30 + 150 people told
• get on phone and call 5 businesses x 30 days = 150 people told
• tell 1 person daily about visiting your site and why they should visit and would they like more info
• call local cable channels for some free airtime
• press releases
• call local business clubs and offer yourself as a free speaker...this is a great one offer something of value ( rotary, lions, kiwanas, masons, etccc )
• postcard marketing
• baseball cap imprint or summe tshirt or jacket imprint...hummm
