Article Submission Software

In the light of the problems with 'bad links', is automatic article submission now considered 'black hat'?

How about thinking in the way that you're gonna manually submit 3-5 articles per day and an auto submission software just help to replace your manual effort.

Instead of blasting and getting too many links at once, you may use that to slowly get you links without having to do everything 100% manually

Using software for article submission is not advised.

In a nutshell, submitting hundreds (thousands?) of articles to junk article directories is a waste of your time and effort. This is not true article marketing, rather, it is article directory marketing.

The theory behind this procedure is SEO, and the creation of hundreds, possibly thousands of backlinks to the marketer's website, but the reality is, nearly all these backlinks are low quality and contextually irrelevant. In Google's eyes, thousands are required to equal just one high quality backlink obtained on a context relevant website. Furthermore, with last year's Panda algorithm update and more recently, the Penguin update, Google actually deindexed a huge number of these trash articles.

This is the reason SEO article "directory" marketers are now posting left right and center, claiming article marketing is "dead".

It seems to be, now, by Google, yes.

(That's no loss, though - it's been a waste of time for years, anyway. It was only ever based on a fundamental misunderstanding of how article directories work: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post5068872).

But now those backlinks seem not only to be useless, but potentially dangerous, too. They're bulk, automated, non-context-relevant links, after all: http://www.warriorforum.com/adsense-...ml#post6195942

It is a definate no no now. In the past it might have helped with rankings on Google for low competetion keywords but that is a thing of the past.

Automatic article submission has never been considered blackhat.Where did you get that from?
Marketingvision is wrong as newbies usually are. Be careful who you get your advice from.
    Jet Chan is correct.
I use automatic article submissions all of the time and have NEVER BEEN HAPPIER with the results and time saved. You must drip your articles. Never blast 10 articles per day to 50 submission sites.
Think about a real persons abilities and you will be fine and save yourself countless hours.
Remember this fact> Search engines can not tell the difference between an automated submission and a direct submission. That has to do with the submission site settings itself.
SE's only pick up the page link after an approval and a the article page link has been published.
Personally I use an article spinning software that compliments the auto submitter software and submit the spun articles to only five sites per day.
Spin again to 5 more sites the next day and so on. Being able to use each article more than 25 times.
I HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE SE's and my sites continue to rank high for the keywords targeted and I have never been sandboxed from any SE including google. EVER!

I dare someone else tell you differently and prove it.
You just have to follow this guideline> What looks like spam IS CONSIDERED SPAM
Just be careful not to overdo the amount of submissions per day and do not use duplicate content.Use a quality spinner.
This saves me many hours of work per week and I get huge payoffs with traffic and the SE's.
Software is supposed to make your life easier and any marketer not using tools such as those suggested is working his ass off because he's not well informed...
    IMHO
Let me prove it to you.
Here is a search term for you to place in google:
    womans vigina
You will see the results from an automated article submission there on the first page titled:

    [Links removed by moderator]
That was submitted using automation software as you can see by the site I submitted it to. Look at the link to the article:

I never quite know which is more surprising and distressing: the fact that there are are so many thieves about, online, or the fact that some of them even apparently have no compunction, hesitation or embarrassment about admitting in public that they're thieves!

How hard can it be to rank for an unpunctuated, misspelled keyword? How in the heck do you monetize something like that anyway? If it doesn't pay, what's the point?

I suppose I was supposed to offer my best keywords an an example! But it does get over 1K in monthly searches. You are apparently very good at finding keywords. A real out of the box thinker you are!
And yes,I do very well researching misspelled low competition keywords and YES I rank very quickly. And yes IT DOES PAY or i wouldn't do it.Isn't that the point!

BTW. FYI If you want to stay broke then keep your morals and ethics on the table, that will surely seal your fate. Ask the maker of the software> Auto Blog Samauri if you know him.He is here at WF. Ask him how fast he made hundreds of thousands by leaving his morals and ethics on the table. He would laugh you out of town. After all>The exact software I use does exactly what I stated above that got all of your panties in a knot. It scrapes articles from ezine articles and allows you to directly upload them to your website for reprint. Hmmmmm.
If you have a problem with that you should get out of this business as you will get your little feelings hurt pretty quickly.

I will never use article submission software.

I agree that we should be focusing on quality and not quantity because, as Alexa said, getting lots of low grade backlinks is not going to impress anyone, least of all Google. If you abuse any internet marketing system then Google will catch you eventually and suddenly your business has gone. In addition to that your reputaion has gone too.

Having run an article directory for many years, most articles submitted by article submission software never see the light of day as most software do not correctly categorise articles. Consequently in-correctly categorised articles are deleted.

My experience is that diversity is what's most important. IMHO, article backlinks are still helpful but you must diversify with other links i.e. document links, video links, press release, profile, social, etc.

Since Google Panda came out, a lot these old SEO techniques have been rendered ineffective so I can't guarantee that this will work for you but in the past some that I have found to be really good and worth looking into are SEO suite and Yoobids article submitter.

I am not looking for article submission s/w.
I was with UAW for two years and found them to be excellent.

I just think that Google has a downer on these techniques now and wondered what other people thought.

article submitters...meh..... that is so like... 1970's for me.

for us article syndication in the right publication is working like gangbusters for us. Actually to be honest with you..... it make article submitting software and robots look like a car with rectangle wheels. You will get no where fast..... and google now frowns apon spamming article directories.

Get with the times people. Otherwise, you face the consequences. Just my 2 cents worth.

So, it would be better instead to submit articles manually? Or it is still ok to use article submitter software as long as you also venture into other sources of traffic like video?

Once you understand how article directories work, Nyjones, and the fact that those "backlinks" have no measurable benefit anyway, this is a question that need not arise at all.

      http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post5068872

As it is, after such a recent update, only someone inside Google can answer your question with 100% certainty. But since that isn't going to happen, try these posts instead, and then see whether you really feel like trying a few hundred non-context-relevant, PR-0 directory "backlinks" ...

Another thought for you, perhaps worth being aware of, anyway? Nobody who is earning a living from article marketing has been doing that for at least the last couple of years anyway, and since they all stopped doing it (the ones who ever did it at all, that is), it's only become less valuable and more dangerous.

Maybe not so much to think about, here, really?

Let's just secretly hope that all our competitors decide to use automated submission software? :p

I prefer a Quality manual article submission because in manual submission I submit my Article in best article websites and more accurate category, also my article links are stable for long time. Handpick only a few directories that are credible but try not using spun content.
