You know, it took me a while, but I finally got affiliate marketing down to an exact science. And even though I sell plenty of my own products, it's actually easier for me to do affiliate marketing now because of the strategies I've developed...and...I don't have to be hassled with customer service as the product creator does all that. But where are all the great products? I go to Clickbank, PayDotCom, Sharesale and so many others and I find more junk than I find stuff of quality. Can't we have more great products like we get out of people like Dean Shainin Alvin Huang Joel Chue Kevin Riley The Nitro Bunch And so many Warriors who I've come to know personally? I find myself pulling my hair out trying to find things I can really be proud to sell. I don't even remember the last time Dean came out with anything. His last product, that I am aware of, came out sometime in October I think. I know you guys can't keep cranking out stuff month after month, but there seems to be so little worth putting your reputation behind. Am I the only one who feels this way or do other members here also have a hard time finding affiliate products that really blow your mind when you see them? |

Steven, It's kind of a Catch-22 in a way... I've sold nearly half a million dollars in affiliate products and services over the past several years, but out of my own stuff, only one product has ever sold for me in IM, because no one has ever heard of me. ![]() You have to have the name before other people will sell your stuff, but you can make a name for yourself in this market until you sell some stuff....lol. After being involved in IM for nearly a decade, I feel I could write on just about anything in this business and have it be useful to somebody. I'll also admit to being kind of bored and looking for a new direction. So I have an idea. PM me if you are interested and let me know what kinds of things you are looking to promote. If it's an area I have some knowledge in, I'd be happy to create a product. You get a quality product to sell, and I get some exposure. That would be a great win/win situation. ~Mike |

You dont have to have a name....you just have to know the right people and the right places to look. It's in the edification of the name...the networking...and the relationship building. Steven was asking where the good places to find good products of some "The Known Marketers" the guys who put out the right products, Quality Products.....you have to know where those places are. Because he is right....Clickbank...although it has some killer products is filled with a lot of junk. The Partners who list on my site. and other JV sites....are there looking for quality marketers like Steven to promote. These JV Sites are like the Custom Home builders vs the Large Volume Track Builders. We cater, specialize, and customize to our clients....therefore retaining and attracting better clients....and like a custom home builder...we don't just throw our houses together with a bunch of stuff that sticks together....we promote the best built by the best....marketers. And being the BEST does not mean you need to be Frank Kern or Mike Filsaime. There are lots of names that you do not hear about that are on the top ten leader boards of many new product launches. | |

Can't we have more great products like we get out of people like Dean Shainin Alvin Huang Joel Chue Kevin Riley The Nitro Bunch Yes Steven, we can have more great products like Mass Control 2.0, Google Cash Detective, Arbitrage Conspiracy...etc. Great products do surface every once in a while, you just need to know where to look and who to talk to! Steve, Great products are out there, but not all of them can be found on Clickbank. People like Keith Wellman, Sean Mize and some less names in IM, have some great products which cannot be found on Clickbank unless you are on their list or happen to read one of their articles. It all depends on where you look and what you are looking for. |

Hey Steve, Geez, I'm surprised to see how frustrated you are on finding new stuff. Heck, I be looking to you for new stuff like your packages which I have bought. Anyways, here's and idea, why not breath new life and sales into what you already have and what's already available by offering it into another market besides the IM arena? There is stuff out here that is over 5 years old that I sell outside of the IM arena. You'd be surprised at how folks outside the IM market snap up stuff that IMers wouldn't touch with a 10 foot pole. I imagine I have enough stuff from the IM arena to last me a lifetime to sell in the non-Im arena... especially offline. Let me go into a little bit more details of what I'm talking about. I'm a print broker, and have been for many years now. Through simple methods known in the print world, I'm able to get my own printing free and free local distribution of my offers in print also. For instance, one of my customers owns a hair salon, she has flyers/circulars printed up and they distribute them to their customers and other local areas. By offering her discounted printing, I get to put my offers for affiliate products for free on the back of their flyers. Plus, I still make money on the printing order. Let me give you an example. Hair salon owner wants a 1,000 flyers printed up to distribute. I put an offer for a 5 year old affiliate hair loss prevention ebook on back of those 1,000 flyers for no cost to me and they are distributed free to her customers and locally distributed. I don't know how well they do in getting new customer for the hair salon business, but I sure do pretty darn good with orders for the ebook and it didn't cost me a penny. I think printing is the perfect recession proof business because businesses and business people need and want it no matter what's going on with the economy. Besides, they need printing to do business anyways. I simply combine online with offline, we all make money, everyone's happy... and it doesn't cost me a single penny. Now with all the recent craze over offering online services to offline businesses, I'm considering that too because I've already got my foot in the door with so many of the offline businesses and business people. So not only can I offer them savings on their printing costs, but I can help their businesses to make more money and bring in more customers. Anyways, just throwing my two cents worth in about breathing new life into what's already available by selling it in a different area... like offline or locally. Offline folks don't care how old it is as long as the info is good... and you can make good money being the first to introduce them to it. As you know, this opens the doors for backend sales to these eager folks by offering them similar or related products you probably have filling up your hard drive. One more idea before I go. Target an offline group of local folks or business professionals, and start a newsletter in their field using the tons of PLR articles and so forth you have. For businesses and business people, you can look up your local chamber of commerce directories online which lists all the members along with their emails and websites... if they have one. This is a great resource and the folks and businesses in there have already proven they are willing to pay for exposure and advertisement for more business. They all have internet connection and email, and a few of them have web sites(hint). Hey, easy pickings using all the info products and PLR articles and stuff you already have to breathe new life and sales into them. So give it some thought. |
