How many people are making their living online?.

I just read an article bashing IM and calling us scammers. So I was thinking... How many people on this forum of about 300 thousand make a living working from home on their computer? please post. If there are enough of us I may send the thread to the article.

So let's see you all.

If living in a third world country, what I am making is handsome. Sadly in the part of the world I am currently in, about $80 per day is minimum wage.

People will say that IM is a scam but mostly because they don't understand it. I always say that "Internet Marketing" isn't really a thing. It's just sales and marketing on the net. It's about running a business, you'd be surprised by how many people don't understand this fact.

Here is a short list of things that are more of a scam than IM:

        Credit Cards
        Cell Phone Plans
        Health Insurance
        Plastic Surgery (cosmetic, not reconstructive)
        Student Loans
        Online Universities
        Mediums
        Televangelists

I could go on but you get my point. I don't know what article you're talking about but I'm not sure I care, I'm too busy making money!

I have my own online business, and sell products over serveral niches.

I started with nothing, no help from anyone, and built it up to a 5 figure a month business.

I too hate people bagging Kern and some of the other gurus, as their FREE stuff is better than products that cost you $500 and over!!

      Go figure.

You'd be surprised; but not all of them are. Now the writer of this article I can't comment on because I don't know them and have never conversed with them.

A few of the other guys I have reached out to when I see stuff like this legitimately believe that the whole industry is absolute crap. Their opinion is usually based on being tricked into crap courses, a practice they extrapolated and placed on everyone else. They're more misinformed than anything, and it really is sad.

Some can be convinced of the merits of the business if the right person shows them. Others? Well, they're the haters to which you refer, and they can screw off.

Quite a few people who claim to have a full time income actually just talk big around the bush.

No matter where you are at right now, you can make a full time income online within 1-2 years.

There are people making tons of money online who didn't finish high school and don't really had any clue when they started of.

Just jump into the pool and get started!

I didn't mean that I don't make money and need people to prove it. I love this business and I like most of the people I meet. I was more hoping to have people speak up and let the real world know how awesome this can be.

Best thing you can do with such people and articles is to ignore them, this way you are
giving them attention they desperately want. I know it can be frustrating when you see
stuff like that, I was disgusted myself when I ran into one zealous site dedicated to WF
hate, but there will always be people like that, there's no much you can do about it.

I've been making a very comfortable living online now for about 4 years, and doing it in a very legitimate way - so yes, it can be done, as is being demonstrated in this thread. What a horrible article!

I can honestly see over the next decade or so much of the job force in the U.S. being online. And, for the record, I DO believe that absolutely anyone can do it, if they're motivated and patient

Internet Marketers are scammers like Car Repairmen are scammers.

    Are they all scammers? No.

Is it an industry were customers have little knowledge and must rely on the word of the "expert"? Yes.

Do some people take advantage of the poor customer once the car is up on the hoist? Unfortunately, yes.

I was out of work when I started out 6 years ago so I had to make it work... Heck! I didn't even have an email account and it took me 10 seconds to type my first name alone!

But yeah, made it work and I'm making a nice chunk of change from it now.

Ignore that article btw, it'll be some div who've tried and failed to make money online and he's venting his anger at the successful internet marketers out there.

Kern alone as helped me make thousands of this stuff over the years.

I've been in the biz for 8 years. Full-time good living for 6 years. Now, some of my students are doing 5 and 6 figures a year. Sure- some people can make a good living online. I don't know if you can... There's a hell of a learning curve and it's a lot of work at first. It gets easier.

Here's the deal about that article- Internet Marketing is just marketing on the Internet. Marketing, in and of itself, can be good or bad. Cigarettes used to be advertised as a treatment for coughs, for example. Eduard Bernays and Bruce Barton were geniuses, but they did a lot of harm, too.

Why the focus on Internet Marketers? Because the "source" on that article wants an Internet Marketer to sue him so he can, during the discovery phase of the trial, find out stuff he wants to know.

This one may blow up in his face, but since it was (I'm assuming) vetted by Washington Post lawyers, there's probably nothing actionable in the article. Some of it sure looked like slander to me, but I'm not an attorney.

Anyway, most of you know this but- for the newbies: yes, it is possible to make a real good living by marketing useful products in an ethical fashion to people who need them. No, it's not as easy as the Clickbank "one-button-riches" products say it is. In fact- the free information put out by Kern, the Job-Crusher guys, and Ryan Diess and Perry Belcher- to name a few- is so good now that you probably don't need to buy another product or course ever again.

    Now, go get rich. ;-)

I'm agree with many of you here, I was working Full-time until last month, Now that things are going great I decided to downgrade to part-time and dedicate moretime to my Online Business.

I got qualified in less then 45 days and Now I’m coaching and training people how to do the same I do, 3 times a week, I can't wait until I'll be An Online Marketer full-Time, if you dedicate time to this industry, you can really become financially free.
It was hard at thebeginning, but once you know what to do you can build a nice income and get more leaders into any business, I'm just doing coachng 3 times a week. "Never Give Up and Do not Let Anyone Kill Your Dreams".
