Question about adding add to existing site

Hello. I am in the process of building a site and writing all my content. I have another site that has a google rank of 3 (to my surprise). There is some basic info on it but not much. It gives people a place to e-mail and has some links to my favorite sites. It was not built with the intention of making money. But since I learned about the decent google rank, do you think it would be worthwhile to put ads on it? I could add Adsense but always thought it could make no money. Could it make money even if I don't add anything new to it?

    How about testing several days with Adsense and several other days with Affiliate offers and see which one brings you the most money?

    Either ways, getting those people to your email list would be a sure thing to do so you don't miss them and can make money out of it in the future.
