    Hi Tuxedo,

    1. Offer insane value with any offer you put to your list
    2. Build trust, deliver on your promises
    3. Only send high quality information and offers
    4. Do not send offer after offer (give high quality info and you will receive)
    5. Do not be afraid to sell!
    6. Do not follow the herd, write your own take on email swipe for affiliate offers
    7. Offer bonuses for your own products and affiliate products

The above is just off the top of my head.

    Best regards

    Luke

Its a Marketing strategy. Main thing is "If Subscriber get annoyed with your mail you will going to be a loser."

Michael - Tried to cover that in point 5, you are bang on the money with that one.

Tuxedo - Would suggest you have a go yourself, let your personality come out in your email, people actually like to get to know you. If something has worked for you tell people about it. If you have a product then explain what is unique about it and how it will solve a problem your list may be facing. Ask your list questions (golden for telling you what to write about and for product creation/affiliate offers). Admit your mistakes to your lists and always be yourself.

A few pointers above, there is no exact science to writing emails. Give it a go and you will quickly find out what works and what does not. Always test headlines, offers and writing style (long emails, short etc). Change the media format (i.e. pdfs, audio, video)

    Best regards

    Luke

I struggled with this...until I just wrote genuine emails from ME...!!! I used to try to copy and swipe emails and try to tweak them but they were not really ME.

Be yourself...your list will like that more and get to know you better

QUALITY , QUALITY , QUALITY!!!!! Offer great solutions or or anything that you believe it's going to help , or give benefits , and peoples will love you. I personally read t.he title ,if it's one of the topic i'm interested i open the mail , click the link and visit the offer , if the offer is a crap i blacklist the sender and later unsubscribe .If the offer is great, solid , serious, even if i don't buy i keep looking for the sender next mail.....as simple as that . GIVE , GIVE , GIVE AND DON'T SPAM PEOPLE WITH STUPID OFFER , take your time to find the right offer and peoples will love you

I strongly recommend only promote products that you personally love and use! This may mean only one or two emails per month, but it will make you unique, individual and trustworthy, and above all buyers will open your mail and take a look!! I haven't had an unsubscribe for three months now!!!

Ar u on any mailing lists? If you have subscribed to any lists, you would see the IM's emails and there could be some that you like and some that are annoying. Sieve through your emails and have a closer look at the emails that you like and take pointers from there.

Don't email daily! I hate IMs who do that and will unsubscribe after 3emails. Just a personal pet peeve, especially if the emails are always trying to sell me something, even if there are 'useful tips' in those upsell emails.

I do like emails that have internet marketing latest news and tips.

Your email's aren't supposed to sell anything, Just get the click. The sales page will get the sale.

        Very true.

Before you sell the click, you have to increase email open rate by using a "blind" subject line which is benefit oriented.

For example, instead of saying "Discover the secrets of outsourcing",

Try this "The lazy ways to work less and earn more..........".

So readers have to actually open the email to find out how to get the benefits mentioned in the subject line.

If you target the right people, meaning if they keywords you targeted for your site are buying keywords you are most likey going to end up with a email list of customers who are ready to buy.

the key is to have a good sales funnel which works on auto-pilot

its ok to send out the odd broadcast now and again but follow up emails
work great and if you always use cliffhangers within your emails your open rates will be much higher too

you should be setting up your sales funnel so that it works on auto-pilot and when ever someone enters your list you will have your entire system working for you

this is how i get a lot of my sales but i of course do make oto and sales page sales too

Sales is Secondary. Build relationship and trust with subscriber first. If they build trust with you, they will buy your product and services.

After they subscribe to your email list, be sure to thank them and inform what you are going to share/email them in future. And very important for the first 5-10 emails, should provide good tips, freebie/ ebook, so that you can build a good relationship with them at the starting point.

Don't always flood with all affiliate product/ sales.., because thins might reduce your email open/ click through rate. Remember very important to build a long term relationship with them, and you can consider this, 70% focus on building relationship, give support, freebie and 30% focus on sales/ affiliate product.
