Default Trouble Embedding Video On My Site-Any Thoughts?

Hello Everyone,

I am trying to embed a video in my one page minisite and I tried using NVU and then I tried using Kompozer

So I am embedding the Youtube code in my source code...but when I upload the page, no love...I can't figure it out because I am doing it correctly from what I have seen on the internet

My new computer has Vista unfortunately...not sure if that has anything to do with it but I can't figure this out

Any thoughts

Thanks for your time...much appreciated

-Mark

Mark, have you tried opening the file in WordPad and adding your YouTube embed code that way? Sometimes WYISWYG editors mess up code. Do you have your url up so I could take a look?

Thanks!
Cary

I had a post over on the "OLD" forum...

If you have uploaded this video via YT, use a text editor to copy the YT code between two BR tags wherever you want it displayed...

Be Well!

I've read other posts with similar problems, people using Vista and having problems seeing YouTube videos.

Finally!!

Thank you for your help...much appreciated

For anyone else struggling with this, here is what I did:

I have NVU and just downloaded Kompozer. This did not work using NVU for some reason...I had to copy the source code from NVU and paste in it Kompozer.

So anyhow, after I had the file in Kompozer, I saved it. Opened it with wordpad as suggested and took the embedded code from Youtube and pasted it my text editor.

Saved it and uploaded it

I think it had to do with the fact I have Vista...when in doubt, always blame Vista
