Websites Not Paying Affiliates

What do you do if a website does not pay the commissions that you made? I have had one problem with a site and before I got to far into it I stopped promoting. Can website owners mess around with the stats? The site I am promoting I know has at least 10 sales that are not up on the stat page but the clicks are all there is it easy for website owners to take sales off of the stat page but leave the click through rate?

Do you mean the affiliate company is not paying your commissions? I would Google the company name + not paying commissions and see if others are having the same issue. It could also be they are having trouble with their payment processor. Or they may just be very shady.

Depending on how their system is set up, yes, it could be very easy for them to shave sales. Never trust a sponsor - watch them carefully and dump them if you suspect foul play.

That's why I prefer to stick with big networks. They may also be shaving, but it's never too obvious or they'd get a bad rep really fast.

This happens a lot, in fact it happens so often that most of the time you never get one thin dime of a commission, take one of the more popular companies out there today, you have to have at least six difference charge cards on record for any one pay period, else you get no payments.

If you look carefully at the fine print, (so many people don't even read the fine print) you will notice that if you do not make a certain amount of money in a certain period of time you get no payments.

I find it not only disheartening but actually stupid.

This is why the only thing that really makes sense is that in the future you make sure that you have direct control over your own destiny.

It just amazes me that companies will do that. You will think that a company will not be that stupid to try to trick affiliates. A honest company vs a dishonest company, the honest company will always get more sales from affiliates. I always make sure that I read the fine print.
