Should I Interview A Competitor

Hey guys. I'm working on my first Home Study Course product and I just thought to speed up the product development is to interview people in my niche.

The problem is, they're actually my competitors though they are located in different part of the world. But because of the Internet, we're still competitors technically.

Is this a good idea?

Thanks!

    YES!

If you interview people in your niche, you can form
some really good partnerships from there. If they
don't want it, they can stay as competitors. But if
they do, it can be a start to a very nice profiting
partnership for the both of you

i would think so even though they are your competition they still might have some good ideas on what to do and what not to do if there willing to answer questions, go for it theres nothing wrong with that they might help you and you might help them.

I've seen some audio products that have competitors interview competitors because it turned out to be a joint venture.

So you can turn it into a joint venture and allow your competitor to do a sales pitch after the interview.

    It's a win win situation.
