Website screenshot service

Hi,

Just wondering if there are any services that will automatically take a screenshot of predefined URL's (for example landing pages, google adwords listings, seo results etc..) and save them in a database?

    thumbalizr - thumb your webpages

This gives you an api to get the screen shots, however you need to write the additional code to save to a database. I have done this many times. What I like about this service is its easy to check the status of the screen shot. Some services its hard to determine if the screen shot was taken yet or not.

No, you would need to create a cron job and schedule it on your own side.

The only way I really know of to do this is another coding thing. If you don't know PHP you could hire one to do this for next to nothing ($50 at the most).

Personally I would use the "snappy" PHP library to do this ... as I said in another post. You can get snappy here:

    Hi,

You should try GrabzIt's Scheduled Task tool. They have a online system that lets you schedule your screenshots and then send them to a location of your choice, such as: DropBox, email, FTP etc.
