Someone Please Tell Me If My Video Is Coming Out Okay. . .

Hi, I am working on my squeeze page, I just compressed a vid with Camtasia. . . I fear I might have overdone it. It is only 4MB. Can someone please click on my sig and let me know if it looks okay? Thanks. .
Andrew.
P.S. Squeeze page not completed yet. . . All I am interested in is the video. I only have one working eye, and I am on an old laptop. Thanks very much to anyone who lends me a hand here. I really appreciate it.

    Aloha Andrew

The compression doesn't seem to adversely affect the video, it looked fine to me (used Google Chrome under XP). However there seem to be 2 videos on top on one another, the bottom one seems to be delayed and then starts playing before the top one finished. I assume this is just some testing you are doing?

Best of luck, please let me know if I can be of any assistance

    Bill

Uh yeah... That's Google Chrome.. Works fine in FF and IE. . . I believe it's because of some If statements that check to see what browser is installed.. I really have no idea how I would fix this... I want the video on my own site. . . Do you know of a better way than techsmith have shown?
      Thanks very much.

I used FireFox and the Video worked fine but there's a white space about an inch thick above your head.

On Chrome there are two duplicate videos.

Video loaded quickly and that's great.

I do suggest that you zoom or bring your camera closer to you and cut down on the head space. Make it a little tighter.

Lower the camera or increase the height of your chair. Keep it on eye level.Once you tighten your frame, it'll work out. Tightening the frame doesn't mean you've got to have a closeup but moving the camera in a little may help.

This is so that when your viewers watch the video, it is as though they are looking you at the eye.

You may not need to do the recording again because I'm sure you can edit your frame using a video editing software.

If you want to keep it that way, it's cool with me. But I'm just providing you with a suggestion that will help.

Just so you know I've got three years of film school experience ;0) and I do lots of video editing myself.

Generally it looks and works fine but maybe try a little testing using a Free cool multiple browser tool...

I have used Firefox and IE under XP but on both works just fine and the video loaded in decent time. Regarding the compression doesn't affect too much the video but i think there can be done a little bit better. Good luck.

AHA! It works wonders to actually sleep. . . Who knew? I have it working in chrome now and most likely all browsers. . . Thanks everyone for your help. I really appreciate it. Working with one eye is a bummer, and my implant craps out after 5 hours or so. . . Thanks again.
