I know this is an open ended question
But what kind if banner designs get the best CTR

I am setting up my first CPM campaign and am looking to design high ctr banners for it

any ideas online samples or experience in such

    Flash banners with subtle animation that catches a visitor's eyes while delivering your usp (unique selling proposition) and emphasizing your cta (call to action) seem to work very well; at least better than most static banners. You can also try designing them with some built-in "shock" factor. IE: Picture of a woman with a surprised look on her face, etc.

    You have to use really good images that creates emotions and also have a message that makes them curious. Don't give everything inside the banner..make them click to see what is it about..

      Known fact since the beginning of time.

      And you don't have to have flash banners to have a little animation, you can also create (or have created for you) .gif animated images.

      Test a few different design's and see what works for you, and definitely have one with a nice set of Boobs that just say's "You Know You Wanna Click Them!"

    Catchy,Simple with a call to action works.
