A Small Hubpages Success Story.

Today, i have had over 990 visitors and climbing to my Hubpage i created on the 3rd May 2012. This hubpage is based around the video game niche and was laser targeted to one particular product which became available today.

Now, i stumbled across this keyword when messing about with google keyword tool and thought why not give it a go. So went over to iwriter and ordered two articles, one for 1000 words the other for 500.

Once the articles were completed i set up the hub with my 1000 word article, pictures and videos and did a bit of onpage seo. H1,2,3,tags etc. I then went to fiverr and ordered a bookmarking gig targeting 30 of the most popular bookmarking sites, whilst there i got my my 500 word article rewritten twice.

Once the article had been rewritten i then submitted them to my Unique article wizard account targeting my main keyword and a few random others. Then let UAW work its magic.

Over the past week or so the rankings and visitors started climbing and over the past few days the traffic has exploded.

During those couple of weeks i set up another hub based on the same product targeting another keyword, did exactly the same set up and used UAW for backlinks and fiverr for bookmarking. Today traffic is up to around 400 visitors and climbing.

Tomorrow will be crunch day to see if my sales have shot up (amazon, sort out your 24 delayed stats)

Moral of the story, Im now going to target product launches more

    Good for you Steven!

Just curious how many searches were there before the launch vs after (if you checked).

Way to go Steven - sounds like you are on your way. I've never dealt with hub pages and have always chose my own websites. I was wondering how they were doing after the update.

I have a number of my own sites but didn;t think it would be worth it to build a site based on this particular product as the traffic will die down in the next week or so. Thought i would capitalise on this launch and do the same for other up and coming launches.
