Can THIS be done in a WP Blog?

Hi guys,

I'm setting up a WP niche blog...it's an about me blog with a huge bias towards my chosen niche.

I've identified some products that I can promote and earn a commission.
these products are mainly physical products from Amazon i.e. books, dvds
etc.

Is it possible to create a "Store"' page on my WP site that lists the products in a gallery fashion with price and individual buy it now buttons under each product graphic...and when the buy it now buttons are clicked on, takes them to the merchant under my affiliate id?

Amazon has a "Store" widget that you can load up with whatever products you would like and yes, that can be placed on a WP site.

Yea, that is possible.
You can search for plugins that do that or you can make a table in html and put an image with a button that links to your merchant account.

WordPress Ecommerce a WordPress Shopping Cart Plugin - getShopped.org

That's a non-affiliate link to a free plugin called WP E-Commerce. It will work with any theme, but there are certain themes that take better advantage of it. I'm integrating it into a blog of mine with the regular 2011 theme to see if I can do it.

I found it through Elegant Themes because they have to themes that are geared to work perfectly with it. It got cost-prohibitive for me, though, because there were several upgrades I needed to buy and I'm the kinda of guy who likes "free" MUCH better than "paid."
