How to Promote My Flippa Listing???

Hey guys

I need some insight. I don't have a lot of experience "flipping sites" so, I'm curious to know how others go about promoting their flippa listings to attract more attention.

I'm currently selling this site:

https://flippa.com/2743710-tdkr-most...owth-potential

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Phil

Maybe launch a WSO to promote your Flippa listing?

Not sure if this is allowed here though, you may want to check with WSO support.

    Just my thought.

Interesting idea, however I don't think that would be appropriate.

      Thanks

You can use various seo off page activities for the promotion of your website like Article submission, press release, guest posting, blogging etc.

In my experience, the best thing about Flippa is that they have a lot of traffic. That's why their listing fees are sky-high. So it means you'll probably do pretty good in the auction without any external promotion.

Also, Flippa is kind of like WSO, in the sense that the headline, the copy and the kind of site you're selling (whether it's a high-demand one or not...) make a great difference in the final result.

BTW, the site looks awesome. Good luck!

Thanks for the insight, and you're right a properly written copy and headline is very important....but not one of my strengths.

      We'll see how it goes.

      Thanks

The greatest marketing for any listing is
    (a) the monthly net profits of the website
    (b) the free targeted traffic it receives
    monthly.

Is your website have the two above assets?

I imagine that your post will get your site quite a few views!
Other than that Flippa is high traficked anyway with your ideal target market and can you do a featured listing??

I never use Flippa when selling website, it is very difficult to get out the "right" value of your site from Flippa, there are other channels on the web where you get get paid much more.... *wink* Linkedin for example.

SO my suggestion is, use Linkedin (and other sites like that) to promote your Flippa listing!

I think you're right...I don't think I'm getting good value for the listing (see shameless plug below):

      https://flippa.com/2743710-tdkr-most...owth-potential

I should have paid for some good copy.....

Just a few things to note:

        1. Most Flippa buyers glance through listings. Your headline says it all. This site makes money but you didn't talk about that in the headline..."Rumors Website Making $120 Per Month..."

        2. Traffic stats should backup money stats, not the other way around. For example, you talk way more about the traffic/comments, etc. and less about the money. The only reason I knew it made money was because you said so on the forum.

If anything, its a learning experience for next time. If you're good at creating these sites, you could easily create a system for it, scale it up, and flip more of these sites on Flippa.

Great tips...can't change the copy now....everything is locked down.

          Thanks

I pay for the featured listing the last two days or day. Views go up a lot when it is featured, but it doesn't pay to do it early on in the auction.
