Hi guys,

Im new on the warrior forum. The main reason why I have come here, is becouse I need some help/advice how to get the attention to my website beautiful-slovakia dot com
Im a tour operator dealing with incoming tours which enable either individuals, or groups to experience the best of Slovakia.

Im trying to contact many travel agents, tour operators to offer them cooperation, but it doesnt really work as they do not always reply to my emails.

I already have tours on some paid travel agent websites, I already work with many hotels and suppliers in Slovakia, but I need more partners abroad that would sell my producst,

so if you have some ideas or advice on how to promote my company, good channels, please let me know.

It depends on who you are targeting. If this is aimed at the budget end then why not contact student travel agencies, hostels, campsites etc. and offer them referral commision.

If your tours are tailor made for those with money then you will struggle to penetrate existing travel agencies agreements. You may need to build a reputation first by getting bookings from your website.

Couyld you offer journalists a free tour for a positive write up in a national paper?

  well, have a look at my website, Im targetting more people with money, as I mostly offer guided tours for groups and individuals. As I said I have tried to contact many travel agents that offer Slovakia, but dont dont usually reply to my emails, I offered them cooperation, commisions etc. I have even tried to organize tours for writers and journalist throught tourist bureaus, but that didnt work either.
  Are there any websites, or good blogs where I can post and get the people´s attention? any cheap forms of marketing?

If the hotel persons or the suppliers you know have some contacts with travel agents, tell them you can offer something free (anything you can imagine that's valuable to your end-customers) to their contacts (travel agents).

How about sacrificing the 100% first time commission to the travel agent to make it easier to start the relationship first and then earn from the upcoming cooperations.

  the problem with travel agents is, that they dont even reply to my emails, I even tried to offer them higher commisions, but they just dont reply.
  I just currently trying to send them a "request" that Im interested in tours in Slovakia, so they must reply and once they do I will ask for a contact on their destination manager so I will see how it goes.

Offline businesses may disregard your emails, considering as email spam.

So why not send them a real letter? There is much more chances that
your business proposal will get read.

  Michal, I used to manage a big motel with 5 banquet rooms, bar, restaurant and more and you could send me emails all day and I would probably never answer them, especially if I didn't know you. Visit as many people in person as you can. Be professional, make an appointment and tell them your story.

Try google adwords and target keywords matching your website...I'm sure it will attract lots of traffic.. If u want free traffic, then forums and viral video sharing websites may come handy.

Instead of emailing them you must contact them by phone or visit them in person.
Or you can mail or fax them your inquiry with your website address where they can easily find all information about your service.
Cold calling is far more effective than emailing.

I think you should make a new site with under a .sk extension so that you will get better ranking via google.sk

Get out and about to travel agents and travel companies rather then sending them emails. Face to face communication is better and build a rapport with them and hopefully they'll join you on your venture

  the thing is, that its hard to contact them face to face as Im looking for partners abroad, but I will try to call to the best ones, by the way do you know any good trave blog websites?

You can try other types of communication such as the telephone or the letter. If they don't answer to the email, you have to try something different. In addition you have to present them specific elements about your website and business in order to prove them that they can have benefits if they connect to you. How many visitors you have, or the time people stay on your site etc...If your site is ranking well for some specific keywords then travel agencies will come to you and you won't be obliged to go to them.
