Advice Request:Domain Escrow

Here's the situation: I'm webmaster for a client whose previous webmaster is trying to extort money from him. He has control and ownership of a domain acquired on behalf of my client originally.

He has agreed to transfer the domain and my client is willing to pay him his price to do it.

I don't trust this guy as far as I can spit into a hurricane so I'd like the transfer to be done through an escrow service for my clients' protection. Can anyone recommend such a service?

Thank you.

Yes, use escrow.com, I've used this service personally many times, especially in big ticket money domains, the last time I used it to buy a domain worth over $8,000, no issues encountered!.

I recommend Escrow.com without any hesitation.

Completed a $20k domain transaction without a hitch last year.

Gotta chime in here - sold a site for $35k in August 2008 - escrow.com was SUPERB - even available by PHONE - talked to a real live human!

    Recommend them without hesitation!
