Do amazon sellers have mailing lists of their buyers much like eBay sellers?

Hey there,

I am looking for mailing lists of buyers to sell products and services to. Can Amazon sellers reach their past buyers and endorse them other products and services?

Thanks!

Amazon does not provide contact information regarding past buyers. What many affiliates do, however is include an incentivized opt-in form on their presell/review sites. These lists are then used to sell buyers additional relevant Amazon products.

Just to correct MYOB, the advise given is only relate to affiliate sites not if you are selling on Amazon.

It is against Amazon's TOS to include any link other than Amazon in any email communication to your buyer from Amazon. Amazon will shut your seller account and it is not as easy as eBay to open another account.

All email communications go through Amazon system ( you don't get access to buyer's email address only postal address). Amazon is very strict with this policy.

The way around this is that if you sell on Amazon and send product yourself ( Not FBA) then you can include a flyer which has other links or your site link.

Thanks for the correction, blackjack. I mistakenly assumed Gab is an Amazon affiliate.

I think email opt-in on Amazon Affiliate sites is against their TOS. I would read the small print first.

I think you really should have read Amazon's TOS before posting that statement. It is an acceptable business practice for affiliates.
