Question about PayPal website payments PRO
For those of you who have switched from PayPal standard to PayPal website payments pro ... I have a question.
Does it change my ability to issue refunds beyond 60 days?
Here's why I'm asking: One of my online businesses will soon start conducting physical classes (as in a real classroom).
Students will be booking their spot well in advance of the actual class date. And I also need to accommodate refunds in the event that someone pays & then has to cancel before the class.
So, say someone pays me TODAY. And the class is in 3 months. They notify me 2 weeks beforehand of a need to cancel. With the PayPal standard account , you have 60 days to issue a refund. That would put me in a tough spot of looking for an alternative way to refund the customer.
I'm hoping Website Payments Pro solves this since you can actually get a virtual terminal and process credit card transactions. So presumably I could process a credit card refund myself too.
I like PayPal. I don't really want to change processors ... but I need more control.
