Hello,

I am hoping to launch my new WSO this month and I want to feature it as an early bird promotion with a discounted price for those who are interested.

I was told by Martin that friday is a good day to launch a WSO but what about a Pre launch promo.?

My WSO is a very exclusive PLR for only 72 hrs so I want to make sure the early bird gets some good exposure. I guess I should just treat it like a normal product launch...

Anyone have any good guidance or experience with this?.

Thank a lot!

Jesse

If Martin told you Friday is a good day to launch a product then it means he told the thousands of other people who purchased that product the exact same thing. Which means now Fridays probably aren't the greatest day to launch a product because you'll be faced with a lot more competition and you'll have to work even harder to rise above the white noise. Having said that it's getting like this everyday of the week now because of products like Martin's that have attracted a whole new breed of first time vendors to the forum.

All it means is Martin has had the most success with HIS products launching them on Fridays. It doesn't mean much more than that. Since Mike usually awards him WSO of the Day for most things he puts out it's not a very comparative measure for you since his products sell regardless. In his case it's a lot more about reputation than anything.

The more you try to plan these things (I think) the more you plan to fail. The best time to launch your product is when it's ready. Not before, not after. Don't over think things. My most successful WSO ever was launched on a Sunday. Why? Because that's when it was ready to launch. But does that mean everyone should go and launch their WSO's on a Sunday also?

I completely agree! I understand with such a massive forum that the day shouldn't matter. And the most important thing it the product. I have already held back (due to my desire to perfection ) I am going to release when it is 100% ready for everybody to use and hit the ground running!

      Thanks again

    Will's right...

Our latest launch was on a Monday.. Main reason being it's because when affiliates were able to promote...

You launch when your product is ready and when people can promote it for you, not when some course tell's you too (no offence to Martin).

As for your early bird list, their is no set time when you should do it.

Dan Lew's latest launch, he did his pre-launch about 3 or 4 hours before he actually launched...

For us, we did it 48 hours before the launch.

Just do what works for you...
