FaceBook buying Pinterest and payment system...

An analyst this morning on CNBC said FB will buy Pinterest and a Payment Processor like PayPal.

He said now that FB is a public company there will be pressure to create more revenue. FB is not generating enough revenue today to support the stock price of $38.00 share, IPO suggested opening.

He said expect FB to make a lot more acquisitions in the next 2 years. FB is trying to keep users visiting their site by creating a better user experience.

The PayPal like processor will only be for FB advertisers.

The analyst said he didn't rule out buying PayPal but most likely FB would buys a similar type processor.

As far as I'm concerned, the more competition for PayPal the better.

    Catchy title, made me click

Although a payment processor from Facebook might sound interested, I'm a bit disappointed because it's going to be just for FB Advertisers.

I can't believe a moderator changed my title.

I simply repeated what the analyst on CNBC said. He stated FB would buy Pinterest, make an attempt at PayPal, but most likely buy a smaller type payment processor that would for now ONLY process FB advertisers.

As far as I know there has been no formal offer to buy Pinterest so why not delete that also?

It's just an opinion from an analyst!

As far as I'm concerned, FB and Google control the internet. They are both buying up all the best internet real estate.

All I can say is goodbye SEO and start to adapt to this new world.

It was a catchy title and it also made me click. Facebook buying PayPal caught my attention real fast - I didn't think it was true though.

Don't have the source at hand, but FB is expected to be the biggest online advertisement earner by 2016.

People make good money selling to the rich. But the rich got rich selling to the masses.

CNBC also showed how much money FB is now spending on Lobbyist in Washington. Spending was up over 200% in campaign contributions.

I don't see that happening. Why would ebay sell Paypal? Perhaps a different payment processor.

Buying Pinterest make sense. It is bleeding FB customers over to its service. But I think it and FB are both significantly overvalued.

There is no way eBay is selling PayPal. But FB could start an eBay/ Amazon competitor. It would probably start out being called something like garage sales.

I don't have a FB account and have only visited Pinterest one time, lol.

I'm just sick and tired of these monopolistic type companies. Yes, someone new could get involved but let's be realistic.

All I know is that FB has a market value higher than McDonalds and GM.

Tommorrow Mark Zuckerberg will one of the Richest men on the planet worth 24 Billion dollars. In 2 years before he is 30 most likely he will be the richest man on the planet.
