Opinions needed: I've noticed my college blog collegepush[dot]com can be shorted as CP, which doesn't sound that great. Should I keep it or let it go?

About: We give college students a PUSH in the right direction.

Hi

I wouldn't worry about that. It is not an obvious abbreviation with your implied connotation, nor is it apparent in the domain.

Unlike some of these unfortunate (actual) domains I found in a non-IM forum:

A site called Who Represents where you can find the name of the agent that represents a celebrity. Their domain name is www.whorepresents.com

Looking for a pen? Look no further than Pen Island at www.penisland.net

Need a therapist? Try Therapist Finder at www.therapistfinder.com

Then, of course, there's these brainless art designers, and their whacky Speed of Art website: www.speedofart.com

Want to holiday in Lake Tahoe? Try their brochure website at www.gotahoe.com

They are all legit businesses, although therapistfinder.com redirects to Counselling California website.

I wouldn't worry about it either and would just leave it as is. I think it sounds better as collegepush instead of CP myself.

Thanks for the comments and onsubie for the great laughs. Exactly why I think I should just start over, but most of the good .coms are taken. There's a bunch of .org choices though. If I were to choose one of these 3, which should I go for? or should I even go for .orgs?
