I need some software, help me out here...

INTERNET MARKETING

Ok I'm still working off of my old Toshiba laptop from like 2008... All I have on it is paint. Sucks... So what I need is a program like photoshop(of course not as powerful) that's hopefully free??? I need to be able to add captions to pictures, make little blurbs, etc., stuff like you'd see on Reddit or Pinterest, Memes, etc.

Also I want to do a time lapse "movie" of my garden from nothing to full bloom to winter, etc. I figured there is some site somewhere that I can upload as I go??? Or any other ideas.

  I second that - GIMP is seen as the free alternative to photoshop, and depending on who you talk to, just as powerful.
  
  I find it a little harder to use than Photoshop (esp if you're a PS user), but it's great once you get used to it.
