FREE Guide - How To Easily Find Blogs That Accepts Guest Posting
I want to share to you my personal techniques on how I find blogs that accepts guest posting. I hope you will find my guide helpful.
On my years of working as an online researcher on Elance.com, I usually encounter some clients who are looking for blogs that accepts guest posting. Actually, finding this type of blogs is not that hard. You can do it on your own without outsourcing.
My Top 5 Tips
1. Use the search engine:
Just be creative when using the search engine. Start with your keyword (the topic of blog) and add the following search string: "guest post", "write for us", "blog for us", "guest blogger", "guest blog", "guest contributor", "add articles", "submission guidelines", & "contribute an article".
2. Contact a Guest Poster:
If you know of any guest poster on your niche, you can contact them and ask where they guest blog. They usually have some favorite list of blogs where they guest post.
If they hesitate to give you their list, you can always check their high pagerank backlinks by using some tools.
3. Visit some blog commenters
Blog commenters are usually bloggers or guest posters themselves. Visit their website and check if they accept guest posting.
4. Setup a Google Alert
This is a great way to get a new guest poster.
5. Twitter search
Things You Need to Check
1. The Blog's Pagerank
Pagerank of the blog is one of the important factors to check when deciding which blog to guest blogging. It is a good thing to get backlinks from blogs with pagerank 3 and above. Although, your new guest post doesn't have a pagerank yet, the backlinks you get are contextual, which is very good for search engine. Over time, if you have a quality article, it will easily gain pagerank that would benefit your site ranking in the long run.
2. The Blog's Traffic
By using Quantcast.com, compete.com, or any other tool, you can find the estimated traffic of the blogs. A high traffic site will help you get some free visitors to your site. They are high quality visitors who enjoyed your article and click the link. Accordingly, the traffic that comes from guest posting have a low bounce rate and spends more time on the site.
3. The blog's guest posting guidelines
Some bloggers provide some guidelines or rules for guest post. If you don't follow these rules, your article will get rejected.
You need to save the url of their guidelines to make sure that whenever you write some article, you can easily refer to it. You can also give it to your writers if you outsource your articles.
