Critique my first facebook/clickbank campaign please!

Ok so I decided I need to take action and be a bit more deliberate in the way I do things so this is what I'm doing.

I'm picking the panic attack niche as I worked in a psychiatric unit many years ago and have experience with the disorder both personally and professionally.

I chose a female pen name for the account and immediately began befriending people. Right now I'm up to around 300 and will just slowly keep going at it till I have around 3000+ on my profile.

There is a blog I'm working on on blogger.com that will be a very in depth, new & fresh look at panic disorder. It will cover a few things most doctors never talk about, like the importance of getting an adrenal stress test and how SO MANY people with this disorder never do this.

I have tons of very relevant useful information like this that I will be posting on my profile to hook people. My problem is this, should I be more focused on getting people into my profile page OR my fan page? I rarely use facebook so does a person need to be my friend before they join my fanpage, or can they just join my fan page directly? Because in that case it would make more sense to ignore building more friends, and just focus on the fan page.

It they need to be my friend first, then I guess it automatically becomes double the work. Moving 3000 people to my profile first, then to my fanpage which will probably be hard.

Is this the right way to do this?
How do marketers usually go about this?

After I get people where I want then I'm going to start using my fan page to initiate some techniques I learned over in the seduction community. These aren't techniques I just read about yesterday I've been using them in my personal life for years.

In the background I will be working on my blog/landing page & after I've built up enough trust/credibility/good will I will begin to move them over to my blog.

Then of course on my blog I will either collect their emails, or I will promote the offer directly on the blog. I'm not as concerned about building a list as I am about effectively moving traffic from point a to point b. I figure once I understand how to do this, THEN I'll really focus on building a list.

So I will likely promote my clickbank offer right on the blog.
If anyone has any comments/criticisms feel free to let me know!

I started this yesterday, so will likely have a lot of questions as things move along. Maybe I'll just keep bumping the thread any time I have a question. But I will keep updating this thread so if I fail (which I'm somewhat expecting), then maybe some marketers will have some insight as to why.

I will also be posting my fanpage profile once I get more people to join. Right now theres not much to look at just a few hundred friends.

Thanks WF! - Red
