If you aren't familiar with the concept, it basically consists of taking an ebook and breaking it down into separate chapters and selling the chapters individually, while trying to sell them all as a bundle in the back-end. Also, you could create different versions of a product to target different parts of the niche.
You can read more about it at drivingtraffic.com or buy purchasing get cash from Google. I'm curious if anyone has used these methods and if so, what worked best for you? I've got several niches I'd like to test out, but I can't figure out if I want to sell individual chapters or just rewrite the ebook into 5-10 different versions...all being the same except for some keywords. |

That is a very interesting question.
I don't have experience with sales by way of product splintering however, I have done it for viral marketing purposes. I did notice The Lonely Planet using this business model however, I don't have any details regarding its success rate: Caribbean Islands Travel Guide - Download Pick & Mix Chapters |

you can always create a system or course and then sell individual parts of a course or system to different sub niches within a niche.
do you have any examples of people making money with selling individual chapters? ------- edit just noticed post up top- thanks |
