Default One of those "Slap the Stupid out of me" days!

I am having one of those days where nothing seems to go right. Eyes can't stay focused, my mind feels like the guy in the hulu commercial (mush), and I feel like I am stuck on the never ending staircase (visual illusion)

So someone please just slap me. Just once or twice until I get my head straightened out.

Going over some products that I am going to update and re-release, I just realized that I was not even tracking the sites traffic. Oh sure, I was tracking the site sales, but duh, not the traffic. So much for a conversion percentage.

Feel free to slap me again, I deserve it.

Oh wait, gets better, I had no e-mail capture.

*braces for impact*

Go ahead. You know you want to slap me now.

Admittedly this was one of my first sites and I was much, much , uh, less focused (yeah let's go with that), back then.

Ok, so here goes. The plan. This weekend I hope to update two sites, one is a pet niche, with new freebie guide. (its almost done). I have been generating a ton of web2.0 buzz with about 1500 follower mostly in the pet niche. Even have several people asking to review, promote or blog about it to help with the buzz. Thats one.

Next site, and older site is to get a face lift. New Squeeze page, New Sales page, New better OTO, and TRACKING. The site will actually get some much needed tlc, and a relaunch (as time allows).

So I did learn that if you have products out there, older ones, never be afraid to re-purpose your material. Updating old content could even re-spark an old list (if you have one for that product), and reconvert old subscribers into new customers.
