Hey all!

I'm a developer/marketer. I'm finishing up a project that I'm about to release the first version of and want to do a WSO as it's really a product directed at marketers. Basically I just need some hand holding on how to navigate the whole WSO thing. I want to make it accessible so people see it, clear on what it does and offers, without just being another salesletter with all the same tricks and gimmicks.

Any guidance would be rad. If you happen to live in Chattanooga and could meet up and chat, would be rad-er and involve good beer!

Thanks!

John

You should speak to another John... John Thornhill to be precise. He has a great product called WSO Domination which takes you through all the steps.

LOL, thanks for the reminder... I bought that and never got around to going through all of it.

Go ahead and spring for the War Room membership (which you'll have to have to do the WSO) and you'll find an awesome guide in there teaching you how to setup your WSO step-by-step.

The biggest tip I can give you is to take action and try.

Look at other successful WSO's (remember some are only successful because they have big lists to launch out to) and use them as examples.

Go out there and buy 1 or 2 of them if you have the money, but make sure to look deep into the reviews (past page 1 and 2).

And above anything else.. create a good product and be responsive to the Warriors buying your product.

Great advice everyone, and Justin thanks for this tip and excellent point. I personally can't stand great marketing backed by crappy product or support or both! So yea, my #1 goal is to create a great and intuitive app that can be easily implemented by the marketer. I'm the tech guy and my customers are the marketers, so I want them to be as free from technical worry as possible.

I'll most definitely upgrade my membership to get in and do some more reading. Although I realize I need to read and learn, I really am hoping there is someone who can do a bit of coaching in person/over the phone because my time is highly devoted to development and outside of that, being a dad and running a consulting business...so time to study and read is limited.

Thanks again all! Hope I can return the favors.

Another note is to always think about what you are trying to create/promote in the Warrior Special Offers section.

If you are just trying to make money without actually providing some useful information that's worth paying for, then you're in the wrong place.

The WSO section should be used to share quality information with the audience that Warrior Forum has acquired.

If you don't know what you're talking about, you're going to get a lot of backlash.

I second the comment about looking around in the War Room. There are some good tutorials in there that will really help you out (I followed one for my first WSO, if I can find it I will share it here)

Offer something new, add a twist. Look in the WSO section and see what is missing. Talk about your past experiences in IM and offer something of VALUE. Adding great value is what brings in the cash.
