Free Traffic With MySpace And FaceBook;HOW GOOD?

Hi quys,

Recently my account with yahoo! answers was suspended due to what they called violation of the community guideline which I have appealed against.

And while I am waiting for my account to e un-suspended.I am looking at other ways to get targeted free traffic to sites and blogs,which yahoo! answers helped me boost to the level of earning between US$1.5 and US$2.3 from adsence daily.

I have heard all the noise bee made about Facebook and MySpace and I am wondering how good they really are?

    They are very good for the people looking forward to selling high ticket or mid ticket items and products, because you really need to network berfore getting traffic. I'd rather bother making money with selling products at least $100 to people coming over from social networks.

        I think he means that you'll have to sell relatively high ticket items over there to make any money.

        This may not apply to your own Adsense income.

        I've not used them with adsense, but in ventures I tried before I found that using Myspace for traffic can be pretty bad, it's SUPER low quality unless you put a lot of time in to warm them up and find the targeted members.

          I can;t speak personally for this, but every time someone brings up the quality of MYSPACE traffic on WF, it's described as "poor"....

            This is just me ranting as I spend very little time on myspace/facebook but both of those sites seem to me to be "manual labor".

            Am I totally off my rocker in this opinion?

            Here's what I mean:

            If I want traffic from those 2 networks I have to go out and get it... by hand. Groups, "Friend" all that sort of stuff needs to be worked over and muddled through.

            If I automate the thing then it's spamvertising and totally ineffective.

            For landing JV's and networking with bigger people I see the potential value... however as a means to sell products and/or build a list I'm just not totally sold.

            Sure they have mad traffic, but is that traffic really in a buying mood and is the ROI enough for me to spend time playing with it?

            Sorry to be so skeptical, but I have yet to really see any proof either of these sites are rock-solid for IM purposes other than the periodic JV networking opportunity.
