Can some autoresponder guru please shed some light on the difference between these. I know that double optin requires the person to confirm to join yourlist ie. (they optin on your sales page and then they have to confirm to join your list in their email account) To me this seems like a pain to force people who optin on your sales page to confirm in their email. Single optin sounds much better to me. But what are the main differences? What does everyone here recommend? Does a double optin have a higher delivery rate or something? Does Infusionsoft use single or double optin? What does Dan Kennedy use? Single or double? lol, too many questions.... but please leavve a comment! |

its not about conversion rates or about dan kennedy, its about not being accused of spam. If your accused of spam then your more than likely going to get shut down.

I always do double optin. THis proves they are really interested in what you have to offer, and more likely to make a sale in future and will prevent of course
