What's the deal with paying fees on transactions that are $1 or lower?

      Oh. They get like $0.30 for the transaction fee + 2.5%, I believe. I should know this, but I never pay attention before.

      I'm not even sure if it's possible to go under $1. I think the last time I tried, I couldn't. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure there's a reason why I had to stick with $1.
