The thing stopping me from using press releases

How do I know if my message is press release worthy?

Say I have just created a generic site on how to flirt or the best horror movies or something like that, how the heck can I make a press release out of that?

HINT: Most press releases contain NOTHING news worthy or "press release worthy".

ACTION: Make a press release hyping your generic site (better if you actually have something original/useful/interesting within your site) and get your links out there!

any examples of a press release for just a run of the mill site

surely the better press release sits will not accept some junk about some new thin website coming online

If you are really not confident enough to write your own press release, take a moment and join the War Room. I downloaded a fantastic ebook from there a couple of weeks ago with a step-by-step methodology for creating great press releases.

If you have nothing for a press release...maybe you are not a worthy site. Think...what do I offer, and why should someone visit me? If you cannot answer these questions, you need to rethink the purpose of your site. If you can answer these questions...you have your press release.

It's what you do when no one is watching
that determines what you will be able to
    do when everyone is watching.
