Aweber Question about Tracking Clicks

This is probably a repost but I couldn't seem to find any threads on this. For those of you that use aweber or any other autoresponder software, do you enable "Track Clicks"?

It appears that the Aweber URL looks really long when I have Click Tracking enabled in the email that was broadcast...I would think that some people will see that long URL right away and think the email is spam.

My question is, do you recommend that I disable Click Tracking to get more clicks so that my link actual displays a shortened URL from my domain? Or does it not matter that much?

Thanks in advance.

I always enable tracking because...tracking is good. I have never heard of anybody complaining about the long tracking links. Granted, they are kind of long and messy, but it's the content of the email that determines its quality, not the link.

If you're testing out copy or offers, you would obviously want to keep tracking on. If you're just sending your subscribers to a blog post or a free download, then it's not as imperative that you track clicks.

The thing is, I find the tracking links much more attractive than affiliate links, especially Clickbank and PayDotCom links...I hate seeing those. I don't think I have ever bought through a naked CB or PDC link, just because they're so ugly...lol.
