Default How to Find a Niche for Your Site Flipping

Hello Warriors,

Today's site flipping tips will be on getting a niche for your site flips. I will focus specifically on blog flipping here as that is the hottest niche so far in site flipping.

Finding a niche

Most of you have heard of gurus asking you to purchase whatever keyword tools or to stare at market popularity sites like Google Trends and Yahoo Buzz. I have been flipping sites for over a year now but I never used them.

I think they are just a waste of time.

I often get questions like:
- How do I know what niche is hot?
- How do I know what people wants?

That's the mindset of an affiliate marketer -- not site flipper.

As a site flipper, you already know what's hot out there. Weight loss, dating, Megan Fox, Rihanna, Pierce Brosnan etc. These are hot markets and it came out of my mind directly. Forget about tools -- your newspapers and your general knowledge are the best tools to help you to find the best niche.

Another method...

Another method is to go over to a site selling and buying marketplace and see what sites are selling.

And that's it.

Seriously, there's no need to spend some money on some tools. I personally don't use them at all. Researching for the right niche is so boring and unless you like doing it, finding a niche for your site flips is not worth your time at all.

Hope this helps.

EPIC AWESOMENESS ==> My Blog. Duh.

Thanks for the tip Desmond. I am a newbie and your information is truly valuable. I would like to start flipping sites too.

Willing is not enough; we must do.

Very true Desmond - it is easy to look and see what is already selling and once you have flipped a few sites you will soon get to know which niches sell the best.

Keeping an eye on what is 'the latest trend' or 'the latest news' is also good too.

I don't spend much time researching niches - I often create sites on niches I know already sell. Occasionally I just get an idea for a site and try it out.
