    Hi Joe,

Ezine Articles isn't a useful place to submit articles to get traffic back to your site. It's an article directory. No article marketer wants to get traffic coming from an article directory to his own site, because we wouldn't want potential customer traffic finding an article directory copy at all (that's not who those articles are there for!): we'd want them finding the copy originally published and first indexed on our own site, every single time, for all the reasons explained in this post.

The principle is further discussed and explained here: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post5068872

Blogs - and any other websites - related to topics you write about are certainly absolutely ideal, as they have pre-targeted traffic for us.

Ezines and newsletters are also perfect for targeted traffic. Ezine publishers are always looking for content. There are ezines available in almost every niche, and getting a copy of your article included in them can produce floods of good traffic.

Offline publications of various kinds also often need content (and will sometimes even pay for it, as well as producing traffic for you), and shouldn't be ignored.

I get 80% of my traffic just from submitting the articles already published and indexed on my own site to the types of place mentioned above. What I'm doing is covered in this post, if it helps/interests you: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post5035794

I do also (eventually, as my "last submission") put a copy of all of them into Ezine Articles, too - but not hoping to generate customer traffic that way: that's just for any other publishers looking there for content (as many do) to syndicate them further.

I recommend the web 2.0 resources like Squidoo, HubPages, a Wordpress.com blog, Blogger, etc. These are what I use as part of my back linking strategy and as long as you're using unique content, and vary your anchor text they will give you good, Panda/Penguin proof back links to your money sites.

If you're after traffic one of the best things you can do is forum marketing inside your niche.this form of marketing is targeted and converts well.

I guess all the answers to your question contributed in some way, but surely what your pushing is more relevant to the types of places you would submit to in search of TARGETED traffic.

Try submitting some shorter articles to Digg or Reddit.

Try also to intergrate with others, for example, put your link on the bottom someone else's broadcasts and vise versa.

Although many folks prefer Squidoo, I actually find HubPages easier to navigate and use for my product reviews because of the easy to use template feature. As long as you don't overdo it with affiliate links, your hubs don't even need to be all that long.
