Hi Warriors,

I'm new to internet marketing. Very new. Like, two months new.

HOWEVER, that two months has not been unproductive. In that time, I got super excited, researched my target market, created an attractive and hopefully useful infoproduct, wrote a sales letter, rebranded my twitter account, and published that product for sale, which can be found at projecteasysite.com (not spamming).

My question for you is, what's the next step?

I know that's a big question, but bear with me and give it a go.

Many thanks,
Charlie

Now its time to start driving traffic to your site. You need traffic in order to make sales. You can use PPC, article marketing, video marketing, press releases, media buys etc. Since you trying to teach people how to build a site video marketing would be great so people can see exactly what you are doing. Make a few videos showing different aspects of building a site and post them on youtube and other video sharing sites. You can also write "how to" articles and post them on various article directories. Whatever you do just be consistent as that is the key to getting a steady flow of traffic to your site.

That's as busy a schedule as I've ever seen. Works for me. Thanks!

      Anybody else have ideas?

Now you need to get traffic to your sales page. There are a number of ways to do that (ppc, SEO, article marketing). You can also submit your product to Clickbank and basically promote to promoters, if you are willing to share the profits. If it's an internet marketing product, et up a WSO right here, I would advise approaching some of the Heavy Weights here on the forum to review the product and advise you, or do a Joint Venture with someone that has a list that would be interested in your product. I hope this helps.
    Cheers and all the best!

Yep - you can launch your product as a WSO (Warrior Special Offer) in this very forum. The benefit is that the traffic is already here - the people on the forum -all eager to learn how to expand their online businesses - good luck!

Wow, you have done alot so far.

Have you considered giving yourself I nice big pat on the back?

Go on do it right now, please

The answers to your question could be written about for hours, where to start!

One thing I can say is to research this forum for some quality, free info.

Traffic is important, of course but it's a perennial theme in IM that can be misunderstood, the real question is...........................

How good is your sales page? Have you tested it, made refinements?

What good is a ton of traffic and a poor sales page?

I would rather have 10 visits and 5 opt ins/sales than...........

    1000 visits and 1 opt in/sale

LOL! I gave myself a pat on the back.

I actually ran the page past an editor TWICE before I published it, so it's free of egregious grammatical errors. As to effectiveness, how exactly do I test it with almost no traffic? Should I post a thread here?

      Thanks again.

For some creativity why not click here for idea's to test a page.

I feel quite proud of you for all the work you have done in such a short space of time.

Don't worry I am not this weird usually!

    Congrats!!

In my opinion, list building is where it's at.

Many successful marketers have big regrets at not STARTING with it.

So glad my business model is based on it. Do I have many streams of income? YES.

Is list building the foundation of most of them? YES!

    Wishing you all the best.

Try to create Authority on your side and use content to establish that, whether on your site or off your site...but both is always best.

Who are you marketing to? Find out and then write content that will be of value to them, which links to your site. Just remember that VALUE is what helps you become more authoritative, not just making up a bunch of words and hoping to get links.

        Build your list IMMEDIATELY!

Use your product to do that...mare sure people can sign up for it on your blog.

I would also start your journey into Facebook and set up a fan page with that product as your giveaway...

        ...did I say giveaway...i.e. FREE!

Your aim at this stage is to build your list...you will not do that by selling stuff:

Nobody, knows you, likes you or trusts you...

Build a relationship first by giving stuff away!! The Universe will reward you...

        LLwyddiant! (success to you)

You have done really well in such a short time, congrats!

Now you have to drive traffic to your sales page to test conversion rate.

It is quite good as it is, but you still need o test it to make it more profitable. There is always room for improvement.

Once you have a high converting sales page, you have laid a solid foundation for you IM business.

As other has pointed out, you must start building a list for long term sustainable IM success.

    Good luck!

    1. Launch it as a WSO
    2. Use Warriorplus to get affiliates to promote your WSO
    3. give 100% commission to attract affiliates
    4. Launch your product at Clickbank
    5. Build your list

The key to product launching is getting more, more, more affiliates to promote your products, and let the affiliates give you free, targeted traffic.

As far as promotion, 2 free ways would be to search for people on message boards who are looking for free hosting, and suggest yours in the thread.

Also think of people who would want free websites (models, make up artists, musicians) and can target them on craigslist.

Google wix and see where / what kind of people are talking about that site and see where you can maybe fit in.

    Hi Charlie,

Welcome to the wonderful world of Internet marketing. I am a full-time Internet marketer and can guarantee you that you can earn a good income from Internet Marketing.

I have spent more than $20,000 to learn Internet Marketing and have purchased many IM courses.

After 8 years of Internet Marketing this is the only advice I have for you if you are planning a long term journey in IM and potentially planning to earn a full-time income.

    1. Build a website about a demanding topic.

    2. Add unique content (new pages).

    3. Add one way links from relevant websites

You need at least 100 pages in one website before moving to a new website. If you do this you don't have to worry about Google's algorithm updates or any other changes happening in the IM world.
