The Best Way To Learn Email Marketing Is..

Hey Guys,

For the IM niche, what is the best way to learn about generating leads, email marketing, followup sales, creating bonuses, building customer relationship etc?

Is it necessary to buy MORE programs or are there short ebooks with REAL good values out there? If so, please recommend.

PS. Please recommend only quality items. I don't need more 'crap' contributing to information overload and the wrong direction.

Thanks heaps guys.

No need to purchase multiple products.
This is my suggestion to you: Find a mentor and/or friend from the IM Niche to help you with any questions you may have. You can add me to your Skype contacts and i can suggest a few people for you. Also, when in skype, I can add you to a few room with multiple people in there that are experience IM Marketers. You can ask as many questions or find a few good friends to ask the question you need answered. That is a great way to build relationships as well.

Personally I'd start by narrowing down your IM niche. That's really broad.

Then I'd start doing because experience is the best teacher.

Then I'd go read some of the quality threads here. I don't think I'd bother buying just yet, there's plenty of good material on here for free to get you flying.

Really it's all about doing. Plus you might be better off saving the money to invest in a small solo ad or something to get your first visitors fast.

Then start driving traffic to an email capture form and start the selling process.

This is one of my favourite threads on the subject: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...will-read.html

      Hi Big Al,

Thanks for the tips. How do you narrow down the IM niche? I understand there is CPA, Article marketing, Social Media and more.

Do you mean there are specific buyers solo ads that sell specific lists in these areas which I should go for?

Yes, practice and fine tune.. I am new in email marketing and I subscribe to the well know IMarketers to model their emails, sales pages and everything else to achieve my desired conversion rate.

But if there any good resources to teach a newbie the basic of email marketing? I have still trying to find my own style to communicate with my list.

Any help would greatly be appreciated!! Thanks in advance~

The best resource on the web in my humble opinion for new and advance email marketers is Mark Brownlow's EmailMarketingReports.com - it's probably the oldest and certainly one of the most influencial blogs on the subject. Not only that, but Mark has a great writing style and sense of humour. Read his "famous inboxes" feature if you need a good laugh!

As well, if you have questions just ping me, relationship marketing is one of my fav subjects.

    Regards,

Michael Rasmussen has a great course called Email Promos Exposed (NOT affiliate link).

It is a the best course on email marketing that I've come across so far.

Best of all, it is free. But he does offer OTO and upsells which are unrelated to email marketing.

Instant Sales Letter (NOT affiliate link) by Yanik Silver is also a great resource to have for writing marketing emails.

    All the best.

as said - "experience is the best teacher".
you have to act to start learning.
    1. make a plan.
    2. break it to steps or tasks.
    3. follow the steps
    4. did u had good results? if yes - rinse and repeat
if no - try to improve the weak step or steps

    good luck

    Hi Internet Lover,
There are certainly many ways to learn these skills. Some god some bad. I would recommend you find a good teacher who really knows how to get the information across so that you really understand it. Somebody who can show you step by step how to do it. When you do, you will be able to implement the skills you have learned. A good e-book on the subject is a good start.

    All the best,
    Truls

Buy "Email Marketing By The Numbers" and get some real life experience by actually doing email marketing daily.

You'll pick up the craft fairly quick depending on how dedicated you are.

Also, try to find a mentor. A more experienced email marketer to help speed up the learning curve.
