    Hi Ariyes,

Visit bummarketingmethod.com and check out travis sagos course about making money from scratch with articles. It's pretty easy to get started with that.

Also, the free book in my sig has some great advice on how to get an actual business started and earning you real money.

    Hope that's useful for you.

      Hi Ariyes,

Have you tried writing & submitting articles? Basically just write articles that deal with problems/questions people have about a particular topic. Then in your signature offer a Clickbank product as a solution to that problem.

Yeah... I wanna know this too. How do you score you first few tens of dollars? (not even talking in the thousands yet, just literally tens of dollars). Anyone?

If you are able to write articles, making money online is not a difficult task. Review type landing pages with the article diven traffic to it works well. But i am sure you can not make regular income with the first 5 or 10 articles. Work in volume. Write 3 to 5 articles a day and submit them to top article directories. You can make at least $30/day with 100 articles online. I hope this helps you.

This article marketing stuff does sound interesting. But I'm kind of guessing that there is a limit to how much you can do right? Is anyone making say $300 a day with doing articles?

Article marketing is a numbers game. The more articles you write, the more you make. There really is no ceiling on this apart from your motivation to keep writing.

Yes, article marketing is very powerful. I know peple who makes $1000 a day only from article marketing. But it is purely a number game. Article marketing with list building can do great magic on sales.

I have a more general suggestion.

Put your wallet away for a bit.

Read this forum, and when someone posts an idea that you can do. Do it and don't quit until it is done and move on to the next project.

When it comes to Guru/IM Products, I now say to myself:

"Try to do what they do before you buy what they sell."

I am fairly new but when I saw Reese's traffic secrets promotion, I thought to myself that my video needed to be high quality and not cheesy. So I am now working on that. I will probably eventually plunk down the $397, but making a good video will still earn me money. I thought the same thing when I saw Josh Anderson and Frank Kern. I try to look at what makes me WANT to buy their stuff and imitate that in some way.

Also try networking online and offline. I would suggest Dr. Thomas Stanley's book (author of the Milloinaire Next Door) called Networking with Millionaires. His mantra in that book is to learn to give before you recieve. I have found that when I learn something I share it with somebody and then somebody finds me to help me when I need it.

Dr. Stanley also talks about being and extraordinary sales professional. Learn to be an Extraordinary Sales Professional and give Ten times the value of what someone pays and people will find you. You can get Dr. Stanley's books from the Public library. No one reads them anymore because they are not get rich quick.

Also at your public library are books by Dan Kennedy. You should read everything he writes. When you read, don't look to buy anything, but notice how the books give information while at the same time lead you to feel you need to buy something from him.

As a Professor, I tell students that they should look to be enlightened before being informed and then put something into practice. That way they will really learn in the classroom of life and not in the ivory tower. What I mean by that is while you are learning strategies; you should also learn marketing at the core (Dan Kennedy and The Science of Advertising Come to Mind). That is where your public library will be of benefit to you. The stuff you learn from timeless books will never change even when the medium does.

While you are doing this library stuff. Have an active money making project that you are seing through to the end and FINISH the darn thing.

I am trying to raise kids, work full time, write a dissertation, teach adult students and do this IM business. So I am busy just like you.

But I am a rabid project finisher though. The stuff I finish makes money. Dave Lakhani said something that stuck with me. You must be a ruthless implementer. Not just a life long learner.

When you learn something, do it, then share it.

I am in this with you Brothers and Sisters, but the little successes that I have had have been when I have done the things I just told you.

              Hey Charles,

this is one kickass post man with some nice tips...thanks bro

I see a lot of people talking about article marketing and all that
which is good but so far none of that really helps if he doesn't
know how to set things up so when the traffic comes he can
collect subscribers build the list which is the goldmine the one
off sale isn't much but it's all good.

But the main stay of your business is the customer base you build
from the subscribers you collect from the articles you submit to
              directories...

Sharing good solid content with a soft hint of something to buy
now your subscribers and customers will love you.

Use article marketing to build your list, you will have to get an autoresponder, a domain, hosting, a blog or static site, it's better
with a blog you can do much more things like have images with
your affiliate links, your subscribe form to get subscribers.

It's not hard to get started but it will take sometime to get things
done if you don't know how to set stuff up...

So tell us more about what you can do so we can help...

Looking at what the OP asked, he probably already knows what needs to be done. The missing part most likely is TAKING ACTION.

Article marketing, PPC marketing, list building and every other method out there does work. You make money on the internet selling your product or selling others product.

If you have 50-100 articles out there, its almost certain that you will make that $500. If you built a responsive list of 500 people, the $500 is right there.

I learnt this from David Vallieres training course. Your daily activities can be of two type.
                  1) Money generating activities
                  2) NON-money generating activities

Map out your day into the two types you will have your answer.

                  Michael,

No one else may say it, but I will. Good post. I agree that article marketing might not be a great starting point for the op.

I am sure it could be outsourced, but that costs money, especially if what everyone says is true and you have to pump out articles to start seeing a ROI.

Maybe affiliate marketing could be a good first avenue? I really think that by learning aff marketing you can learn some valuable IM skills that will help you in most IM fields.

You get to learn how to drive traffic, build sites or blogs, generate content, build a list etc. Start with a low competition niche and work your way up. No matter what, you will learn, even if you fail. This will help you when you are ready to target a higher competition niche, or even create your own product down the road.

The most you are out is time and some small costs if you have hosting and a domain name.

Just a suggestion, and one of probably a 1000, espeically not knowing what you have tried, and what you do/don't know about IM techniques.

I am sure if you posted a bit more on things you have done, and what your talents are, people could give you a bit better advice...

Just a thought and my .02 worth.

                  Good advice Michael.

I have a feeling the OP isn't proficient with the English language and it would be a struggle to bang out all the articles needed for a decent income.

They could always outsource the article writing though.

Submitting articles to the top article directories can brings you decent amount of traffic to your website of choice. You have to include the link to your website in resource box at the bottom of the article. Article marketing brings you the best targeted traffic for your website. Because they are already read your stuff and mostly they are warm to buy your offers.

Article marketing does not involve selling your articles. It is the act of writing articles and circulating them online through article directories, such as ezinearticles. This increases exposure, website traffic and search engine ranking. When your articles are published online, thousands of people read them and people interested in your product or service will visit your website by clicking on the link at the bottom of the article. Once you get them to your website, you will have to woo them with more good content to buy what you have to offer. This is how you make money with article marketing.

The idea is to have a whole lot of articles circulating out there so that at nearly every turn people find your articles. They should be well written, interesting and above all helpful to the reader.

Article marketing works well when done right. You need to write a whole lot of articles, at least five per day for a whole month and see if it works.

People fail either because they submit very few articles or articles of poor quality that provide nothing of value to the reader. It doesn't work that way.

Go get a piece of paper and something to write with right now. Write down your strengths. What do you really get? What are you an expert in?

I don't know what you are an expert in but I am going to give you an example. Since I am looking at an LCD monitor lets assume I am an expert in LCD monitors and that I know more than most.

So I would write that down.

Before we proceed keep thinking. So for the sake of this example lets say I am an expert in ... hmmm creating killer "powerpoint presentations".

    Onward.

Go research the terms related to your stengths i.e. "powerpoint presetentations" and "lcd monitors".

Go to forums related to those words.

For the sake of this go to Yahoo answers. Here is the result for "lcd monitor":

    Yahoo! Answers - Search

    and

    Yahoo! Answers - Search

You have to feel people's pain? Do you feel it? I do. Look at the term "lcd monitor." One guy is interested in a 19 inch but needs to known what the best 19 inch monitor is.

Look at "powerpoint presentation" ... One guy wants music in his slides ... others are asking repetitive questions like "How do you have a good presentation?" "How do I improve my presentation". If you really are an expert in "powerpoint presentations" you should be able to answer those questions.

So how do you monetize all of this stuff?

A number of ways. I will tell you a few actually lets limit it to a couple. First we will talk about creating a solution to a group of people's problems i.e. a product and second something a bit different.

First, before you even thinking about making lovely green moulah is decide what to focus on. You need to find the market with the highest IMMEDIATE NEED that you can leverage to the highest considering your particular strengths.

So lets say "lcd monitors" are only a hobby and your really a "powerpoint presentation" expert. If thats the case look to see where there is more IMMEDIATE NEED, then considering your ability pick one.

Ok this is going on ... Yes so pick one lets say "powerpoint presentation". Right go organize different pains from Yahoo Answers. You should have a word document of PAIN ... questions ... you should see common questions ... Once you have this you can start crafting a product (a solution to particular market's problem). So create an EBOOK or whatever. Hurry up. Get it done make it happen - make it fantastic. Do it take nike's advice. When done - create a web page that sells it - ask for money, lets sell it for say $17. Sell it through clickbank. Also look at learning how to drive traffic to your sales page - you can look at that on yahoo answers forums and google as well.

That was the first idea for you - here is another. Once you have a document with the pains of a market i.e. people interested in creating "powerpoint presentatiosn". Go start a blog about creating "fast", or "amazing" powerpoint presentations or whatever - get some sort of benefit in there.

And blog every day for the rest of your life about that topic focusing in on the pain of your market ... so write posts about "99 Ways To Improve Your Powerpoint Presentations". etc etc. How can you monetize this?

Look at running advertising like google adwords. Look at affiliate banners - go to clickbank and look at products that are related to powerpoint presentations. Go to commission junction look at products related to powerpoint presentations. There are more, if you actually do this you will discover more.

Look there is some stuff to learn here. Go learn it. Go solve a markets problems that YOU are in an advantageous position to solve. Go create a product. If you can't be bothered creating a product and selling it go blog about a topic that you are an expert in regularly and rock the internet. Go make loads of money.

      ariyes,

I am working on a report right now that deals with your question.

as a matter of fact, part of my working title is..."Make $30 A Day..."

If you would like to look through it and tell me what you think give me a PM.

Maybe it will be what you are looking for.

      Matt

p.s. No I'm not selling it to you. This is a gift in exchange for your thoughts about it.

Honestly I set my goals so high, that after 1 year from now, if I earn $1000 a day...even if its profit I will be dissapointed.
I need at least shoemoney type money the way I want to go with this

Making $30 bucks a day is easy and im glad that you start by setting your goals low.
When you make your first $10 a day, triple your efforts to get $30 a day and so on.

Try to sell your service, like writing an article or web designer or something. It's easy to get $30 a day. if you have any kind of those expertise

Okay, $30 a day is not hard. There are many ways to build up to that amount.

You're not going to make $30 a day with anything right off the bat unless you
provide a service or work a job online. By providing a service I mean something
like writing articles for people who are looking for articles, or programming
software for people looking for software or writing salescopy for people
        looking for sales letters.

However, to do any of the above, you need skills in those areas. If you don't
have them, you can't do them. It's that simple.

So the first thing you have to do is sit down and list your skills. What can
you do AND is it a marketable skill? For example, I may be able to do a
Rubix Cube in 60 seconds but I doubt that's going to make me any money.

If you have no skills, the only options left are sell something or work a job.

Finding real "jobs" online are hard as hell. I've tried and could never find
        one. So good luck there.

That leaves you with sales. And let's be honest, with sales, there are no
guarantees. You can't force people to buy things. However, there are
some avenues that area easier to travel than others.

For example, one thing I do that makes me way more than $30 a day and
does not involve having a list or creating your own product is simply to
write reviews of other people's products on my blogs and recommend them.

That's it. All that's left to do is drive traffic to the blogs which you can do
with a number of things such as articles, pay per click, videos and so on.

Okay, so how do you learn to do all this?

One step at a time. You can't learn it all in one sitting and you're not going
        to learn it over night.

I'd like to tell you that there is a short cut to making money online. There
isn't. But there is one key and it's the most important thing of all.

If you ARE going to sell something, no matter what it is, you MUST find a
group of people (hopefully a large group) who want what you're selling. If
        not, you won't sell it.

Aweber has no problem selling me on their autoresponder service because
I know I need one to build my list. They have something I want.

If you keep this much in mind, you're ahead of the game. Too many
people get wrapped up in gimmicks and forget why we market anything
in the first place. So here it is...

"There are people out there with problems. They need solutions to their
problems. If we present them with that solution and convince them that
it's the RIGHT solution for THEM, they will buy from US."

        It really IS that simple.

You want to earn $1000 a day?

    Just sell something expensive like:

    1. A $2,000 to $10,000 2-day seminar
    2. A $200 to $1000 information product
    3. Professional services like copywriting or consulting where you can charge over $1000 for a day's work.

If you don't have the expertise to do all that, find a partner who does.

Nothing is impossible when you put your mind to it...

Now the next step is to pick one and take actions.

I realise there are many such threads "tell me how to make $XX amount"

The threads are answered with lots of great tips, enough to be compiled into a 100 pages ebook.

But the disappointing thing is that I am not sure how many ACT ON the tips given by the Warriors.

If there are follow up actions, good for them.

If there is none, I think it could be a waste of time.

@Ariyes: Hope you use the method and show us your success. =)

          Good luck!

          Cheers,

Hi Ariyes, before I tell you how to earn $30 per day, what is your strength?

Internet Marketing is for the long term and it is good to enjoy every bit of the process.

It can be done. I started in a new niche with no list, no website and only a very clear vision of my target customer from my own experience and in under 2 weeks I made my first $200.00 from a brand new list. I now plan on building on that as my "stepping stone".

Like Steve stated above, you just need to identify what people need and take action.

Writing articles is definitely the way to go when starting out. Once you get the hang of it, you can write your own ebook then go onto making some serious cash. Check elance for article work, there's always plenty of demand. Good luck!

    Great question.

I asked this when I started the "Marketing Masters series". In was fed up spending money and not making money.

I reached some very interesting conclusions during the series. Here are a few...

1.Old style direct marketing is way less effective than it once was. I don't care what some gurus still say. It needs to be incorporated into a social media marketing strategy.

2.The best way to get started is by building a blog on a subject that you can make money in (through affiliate recommendations and eventually your own products)

3.Learn how to generate traffic to that blog. Using the right software is essential and that's where most newbies make their biggest mistake.

Let me know how it goes!

Those are all great suggestions. Now if I may put in my 2 cents worth:

The Warrior Forum is one of the best around -- if not the best. In fact, it's so good it's addictive... so much so it can get in the way of actually executing your IM plans. I have learned to use it as a reward for myself: For every IM project I complete, I allow myself one visit to the Forum.

I set a timeplan: One finished project = one hour of browsing through the Forum. It's a tough plan, as there's so much to learn here, but if I can stick to it, I feel I'm much better ahead. I also make notes of new things I learn, not so I can execute them immediately, but to return to them later... when I finish my current project.

This is one way I can think of to be able to follow through and actually finish every project I start, so I don't get on that perpetual treadmill to FAILURE.

The problem, believe it or not, is that there are too many ways to make $30 per day.

It's a problem because it makes it difficult to focus on a single strategy without being distracted.

The key is finding something you like and devoting all of your attention on that strategy. It's hard, and you'll make plenty of mistakes along the way, but you can do it!
