Need help with a strategy to promote holiday resort in Turkey

Hey guys!

Looking for some ideas to promote a holiday resort on the western coast of Turkey. Basically to cut a long story short I own an apartment on a beach resort in the town of Bodrum.

I've been doing IM for sometime now and my experience is limited to Clickbank and Amazon. I haven't really tackled a project like this before. I have a travel company working for me but they are really rubbish at getting bookings. The website is really poor and I don't think they are really utilising the power of the Internet. Basically I think I can do a better job.

Now I've find an EXACT keyword which is related to my resort and gets around 27000 searches a month with around 32000 competing websites. My strategy is to write a review of the resort based on my experiences (as an owner and someone who's visited it many times) and maybe include some external links pointing to an affiliate airline booking company. But like I said I'm really not sure how to play this.

Has anyone on WF attempted a project like this? Your knowledge would be invaluable.

    If I were you, I would created a nice looking landing page with useful information about the appartment & the environment around, included pictures, contact info and maybe a video and then created a AdWords campaign where I would advertised the landing page with very targeted and relevant keywords.

    You need to use article marketing. It works very well for this type of project. Ezines, hubpages, squidoo- go articles Use the keywords that people would search out to find your site and link them to the site. Also, put some promo info in the ezines bio.
