Monetize A gaming Blog?

Any Advice on how to Monetize a Gaming Blog? We have Podcasts, and General blog posts. The biggest problem is finding a way to monetize it, being that the video gaming market is so competitive.

    Consider promoting games through Amazon perhaps? While using reviews to draw customers in? Im sure there is a lot of popular games about!

    One pretty easy way would be through Amazon's affiliate program. I think GameStop has one as well.

    Other than that there are some game guides on Clickbank.

    ShareASale.com might have some programs as well.

    You could also try some CPA email submits, there are usually some available on every network.

    edit: Also eBay Partner Network might work.

      The first thing I would do is make some sort of sign up, maybe offer extended articles or early updates, something to entice people to sign up. From there you can market most Of your products. I would suggest shooting an email out when new games come out with a quick review and an amazon or eBay affiliate link. You could also market guides to games as some of the major ones, especially mmos, have some decent guides out there. Generally though keep your marketing to a minimum you don't want to bombard your list with sales every email. Provide them value to build trust and you'll see a much better return.

    There's several good ways. Aside from posting gaming-related products from Amazon as an affiliate, a great way would be to use CPA offers. You can check out Offervault for some of the highest and best paying ones and apply for affiliate networks like Maxbounty or Peerfly. Since most gamers tend to be younger dudes, CPS (cost per sale) marketing may not be as effective as CPA, where they don't need to spend money at all, as it's usually a simple email submit or inputting basic information
