IM FAIL FAIL... to IM SUCCESS! FINALLY!

Hey guys.. you might have read this post a while back.

Basically its about me ranting at my frustration at trying to make a buck online.

"...I am so depressed and frustrated right now... and nothing but an empty wallet to show for it. FML."

I was lost, and losing hope.

But, something happened. The warrior community rallied together and slapped some sense into me. Thanks to you guys, I didn't give up. I kept pushing, kept trying, even spent more money.

The result? $1000 made in affiliate sales with a sprinkle of adsense thrown in.

How did I do it? I basically kept making websites and kept on promoting different offers. I got better at spotting opportunity and things that would be worth promoting and that I could actually get decent traffic to.

Want to know my super secret and tricks?

Here it is...

TRIAL AND ERROR! Painful trial and error... but eventually I learned enough from my mistakes and did enough to get a few home runs to get myself back into the internet marketing game.

To tell you guys exactly what I did or what worked would take all week and 4000+ words. What I did basically involved SEO, PPC, Media Buying, Copywriting, and tons of other crap that I won't get into.

But basically the idea is to find high demand (or potentially high demand) products, promote them through traffic channels that are not too high in competition.

What I realized is that to succeed faster is that you need to spend more time trying to succeed then learning how to succeed. YES, this costs MONEY. SEO costs money (don't be a retard and spend years manually doing it). PPC costs money. Media Buying costs money. Buying websites, hosting, and getting custom designs cost money.

Sure, there are super bootstrap freebie ways of making money, but its going to be very slow and have a much smaller return on your investment (time).

To conclude:
I'm not rich, and I have a long way to go. But I am getting richer than I was before, and I want to thank you guys for being there to support me.... even though I really don't know who the $%#k any of you guys are, haha.

Peace and love Warrior Community. Expect more to come, this story is far from over!

That first Taste of success, that first realization that you can actually do it.

    ACTION, what a wonderful word.

Now find out where you made the 1K and scale the hell out of it!

    You're getting it, man!

This is Leverage. Money is your asset...
Trade it off for better cards in your
    hand!

When students come up and ask me,
"How Do I Get FREE Traffic???"

I tell them to trash that idea, because
you either SUCK, are moderate, or are
    freaking good at it.

And the only way you can do well with
free traffic (as in REALLY well), is to be
    "freaking good at it".

Go for paid traffic. PPC. Emails. JVs.

Those are the big factors that skyrocket
    newbies into serial marketers.

    Up for it?

A lot of marketers love to promote "FREE TRAFFIC" cuz it sells.

Once newbs start actually doing SEO, they start to realize differently.

True I have only started earning money when I started spending money.
It really does take money to make money.
Having someone to work for you is very productive.
Always outsource what you can't do ,and what takes a lot of your time.

Example of things you must outsource:

      -Graphics!
      -Copy Writing.
      -SEO if your into that.

Way to go AC! very nice to hear.

I've taken a different approach, but things have really taken off as well.

I decided to move away from indirect marketing.. a la, blog, articles, wp, on page seo, off page, article marketing, backling etc. It was driving me nuts and taking way too long to get things rolling.

I've now gone much more direct, using simple but cheap PPC via Solo Ads.. never looked back! (The process is documented in my free WSO.) I now don't give a hoot about seo, and all that other stuff, and my list keeps building day after day. Plus I have my life back! Yippee.

For fear of coming across rude, is this a pitch for your own wso (i know wso is free) and site? Reason i ask if it is a sales pitch/advertising AND the reason i dont want to come across as rude (!!) is your site looks great and very helpful, ive downloaded the WSO with a view of giving it a good go. I was even going to contact you on your site as i was that impressed! But would hate to be just another letdown that leads to promotion of services and very little else....

Hope this didn't come across as too accusatory, but genuinely interested

You have to figure out what you want. Do you really want to get good at SEO? Then you buy tools and figure out best strategies for guest posts or other link insertions.

Personally, I use a combination of services and SEO specialists to do SEO for me. There are many forums such as these where people already have the tools, resources, and experience to do SEO for you for affordable prices.

However, it can be expensive if you are targeted 20+ keywords per website. So in these cases, specifically for low competition keywords, I use Unique Article Wizard.

Its only a good economical solution for a lot of low competition keywords. For higher competition keywords, I outsource SEO to people on forums or freelancer/odesk (always read people's reviews first).

Yeah, money is leverage. Your 50 names a day report is pretty good. I enjoyed reading it and am actually going to use some of the strategies.

Congrats on your success! It's nice and motivating seeing these types of posts.

With any business, you must learn from your failures and use that knowledge when moving on. It seems being consistently persistent is a common attribute found in those who succeed at internet marketing. I've decided recently to focus on earning a comfortable income online by the end of the year.

Hope your success continues and that your bank account keeps on growing with it.

Thanks! I hope everyone here doesn't give up. There are more than 1 ways to skin a cat.

SEO Tip: Hire someone to do it for you. IMO, not worth the time to do it yourself... way too time consuming. At the minimum, learn on-page optimization.

PPC Tip: Prepare to test, optimize and lose some money initially!

      Media Buying Tip: Ugly works!

Affiliate Marketing Tip: Do lots of research, dig DEEP, promote products people want and that other marketers haven't caught on to. Hint: Look at products that you use or would like to use!

List Building Tip: Give away awesome free stuff... "Lead magnet."

      That's all for now
