Sweet site man very clean. You want to get in the mindset of direct response marketing though. Ask yourself: when someone lands on this page what are they likely to do first? What are they likely to do next?

You want to structure your website so that you can 'guide' them along to where you want them to go.

As for traffic - seeing that this is a shopping site > I would recommend plugging your site into Shopping Portals like Frogit

Best answer you can get is to just perform a search for "traffic" and find numerous threads on
the subject. You will find much more information that way than you can get in this one thread.

To help you start, here are few great threads about traffic:

It's what you do when no one is watching
that determines what you will be able to
    do when everyone is watching.

Two easy ways to get traffic to your website:

    1. Make Youtube videos and rank them on Google (so much easier than ranking any website)

    2. you can run video campaigns for your youtube videos on Google Adwords and get faster traffic.

    Hey,

We are talking traffic here for a store selling t-shirts, so lets get a little creative...shall we?

Let me take just one product from your store let's say "Jog With Jesus" T-Shirts.

Now head over to Google and search for christian forums that are related to lifestyle and health. Start participating there and do include a link back to the blog in your signature. Focus on adding value to the forum and you will be suitable rewarded. This technique would work really well when you have few products in a product line to focus on.

Having said that here are some of my thoughts on getting traffic to your kind of blog/site

    1) As marchowlett suggested Pinterest is one of the best medium
    2) Participate in creative design contests which focus on designer t-shirts and attract a lot of eyeballs.
    3) Open up stores in zazzle.com, cafepress.com and spreadshirt.com and link them to your site to leverage on those marketplaces
    4) Get yourself registered in shopping site directories

    Hope that helps

Depends if you want to spend time or money...

If you have time I would do

    articles
    press releases
    blog comments
    guest posting

if you have some money to spend I would use paid ads such as

    leadimpact
    solo ads
    ezine ads

Hope that helps you get started

Your site is quite bland, take a look in google and see what your competitors sites look like, especially the paying sites. They are generating income. As for your problem with getting traffic, start with social medias: Facebook, twitter, Squido, Digg, Reddit are just a few.

For a t-shirt store targeting ~20-year-olds your best shot at getting sales would be social media.

You have to be able to connect with them somehow - Why else would they buy from you, and not BustedTees.com?

You can't just put up ads everywhere and expect people to start pulling out their credit cards - at least not in such a big market such as tshirts. Build an audience and interact with them regularly. You're offering a product that's already readily available, so give them a reason to buy from you.

  • Hey Mydealstore,
There are MANY MANY ways of driving traffic to a website, some of which are very costly and others totally useless. I'm a professional search engine marketing producer so it's my job to get websites on page one of google for certain keyword phrases. It takes a lot of hard work and time but the results are well worth it. I could take a look at your site and offer some advice on on page optimization factors if its an option to you?

Sign up to some social networks (ie. Facebook, Twitter, StumbleUpon) and share your content and any other cool things you find online. People don't like it when you only share your stuff but when you give them quirky, cool things they will like you more.

Another tip is to create some videos and put them on Youtube (with proper title tags, descriptions, and keywords) so you can drive some traffic that way.

My last recommendation is to build an email list. You can use a free service like ListWire (if you're short on cash) or a paid service like Aweber to build your email list. Put some optin forms around your blog (in the sidebar at the top and at the bottom of posts seem to convert best).

Anyways I hope you liked these tips and you get more traffic
