How to make money online using MS Paint

Heres a quick scribble I just did up using MS Paint. Gotcha didnt I?

I have this drawn up on my white board at home here. Props go to James Schramko for his advice on this.

Ive elaborated a bit on the concept, but in simple terms, this is how you can "make money online"

To explain the diagram...

1. Your website. Pretty self explanatory. You do your split testing and other stuff here that makes you feel clever, so you can impress your friends at dinner. Dont forget the offer, whether it be free or whatever. Something that "gets em on the list". Capiche?

2. Your list. If you dont have one, pack up your bat and ball and go home. Game over man, game over.

3. Your autoresponder. Whatever you use, Aweber, Getresponse etc. This is where you should be "building a relationship" with the PEOPLE on your list. Treat them as PEOPLE, and not just numbers.

4. The chocolate wheel of fortune. Sounds sexy doesnt it? The basic concept here is this.
  • You get your customer on the list
  • Your customer is that little yellow guy in the middle. See him smiling? Thats right, he cant wait to hear from you.
  • Your offers go round the outside, round the outside, round the outside. You can make as many offers as you like. The more offers, the more money you can potentially make. Dont just throw garbage at your customer. Offer related products, services, tools, and software.
  • The small blue dots are where you GIVE. Thats right, you gotta give a little. This is where you should be sending your customer some kickass information, useful content, free stuff, advice, tools, software and so on that he/she will really get a kick out of.
  • The small green dots. This is where you can ask for stuff in return. This is where you might ask for testimonials, perform surveys, get feedback, have them post user generated content, ask them to link to you, ask them to become an affiliate, ask them to share your content etc etc.
5. And lastly, where you mash all the numbers together and see how youre doing. Ideally, you want to make sure youre conversions are doing okay and then tweak/adjust any areas that arent raking in the cash.

Enjoy...

Haha, being a guy who does all my own graphics in photoshop, with two decades of art education under my belt, including a college degree in art, I was really curious how you were making money with MS Paint! You fooled me.

    Great post though!

    Hi John

That's a very nice graphic and a good post too. Just wondering if you would grant Warriors permission to use the graphic?

    Cheers,
