Should I buy This website?

I have just found a niche and am wondering if I should buy the .com url that I have in mind.

According to adwords the compettion is low with the global monthly searches being 40,000. The keyword phrase that brings in this amount of traffic just happens to be available to buy as a domain.

Is this a site that I should buy? its $12.00 And I am willing to write good content for the site. Do you think that I would make any kind of money promoting this certain clickbank product.?

Scroll down the main forum page and you can find a post where you can buy the domain for $1.49 from GoDaddy.

And don't ask if you should buy it. We don't know your keyword or niche, and just telling us the global search volume tells us nothing

Buy it, try it, and then make adjustments to your technique if it doesn't work. That's what I do with ALL of my sites.

Is that 40,000 exact match searches?

    Just to make sure.

I just typed in the phrase on adwords and for that phrase it came back to 40,000. Is that what you mean by exact?

The only way you'll know if it'll end up profitable is to try it out. If the front page of Google looks easy to crack and you have confidence you'll be able to do it, just go for it.

If you believe you can successfully market the Clickbank product to that niche, you can also look at traffic that doesn't rely on SEO to get an idea if your site will be able to convert or not. Just adapt and keep going.

Low competition is bad and I'd bet a lot that this isn't exact match, sorry bud.

Why is low competion bad. I thought keywords with low competition and high search volume was good?

Competition as judged in the GKWT only applies to the competition for ad space. It has nothing to do with how hard it is to rank your site.

Having said that, if there is low or no competition, it means that no one out there is willing to pay money to put ads on Google or your site. If you're doing an AdSense site, that means that your keyword is worthless. It doesn't necessarily apply to CB or Amazon or CJ....

I'd suggest using a keyword tool like Market Samurai to analyse the competition, they offer a free 30 day trial so well worth a look.

That, my friend, is why all of us come to the Warrior Forum. We all have our own opinions and methodologies for judging this. If I were you, I'd spend an hour or two just go read the SEO forum to get a better idea of what to do.

It sounds to me like you are considering registering a domain, not buying a website. If it's a good domain, register it. You've got to start somewhere.

Definitely, $12 initial investment but sounds like it has a lot of potential.
